The Parish of Widford has two churches; the parish church of St. Mary and Church of the Holy Spirit. We offer services on Sundays and during the week hold groups and activities for the community from new born in Toddler group to people in their 90's.

The object of Brighouse West Yorkshire Area Meeting is the furtherance of the general religious & charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain in the area of BWYAM & beyond. Our principal activity is the holding of public meetings for worship according to Quaker tradition in the constituent local meetings of Bradford, Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Huddersfield and Scholes

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of space for prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of the Christian faith through sermons, courses and small groups. Provision of youth work. Promoting the mission of the Church, including evangelistic and community activities. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

To advance the Jewish faith and advance the religious education of the public by the provision and maintenance of a place of worship and by the provision of classes.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings and the distribution of literature.

Normal Church Activities

Our primary objective is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England. We work to promote the whole mission of the Church: pastoral; evangelistic; social and ecumenical. Our historic church building, which has been a landmark in Bow for 700 years, is a sign of the central place of Christian faith in the community.

The propagation of the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ throught out the world according to the great commission mandate in Matthew 28:20. To assist the weak in our society through the distribuation of food and cloths.

Provision of grants to churches and chapels in Shropshire to assist with their repair and maintenance,especially those of architectural or historical significance.

Thrive Church UK is a Christian Church based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Our objectives are:1) The advancement of the Christian faith in such ways as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide;2) The prevention and/or relief of poverty in Hampshire and such other parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide.
