The Church provides a variety of activities both to its membership and to the community generally. The aim is to show the love of Jesus Christ in both word and deed and to bring people into a closer relationship with Him as living Lord. Central to the work and witness of the Church are the regular public services of Christian worship. There is a children's programme during the morning services.

Salisbury Plain Benefice Parochial Church Council organises and leads Church of England worship in the villages of Chitterne, Orcheston, Shrewton and Tilshead on Salisbury Plain

Our planned activities in order to achieve our aims are as follows: Individuals and/or families are referred to Caring Hands and our five banks of resources via a network of over ninety front line agencies from the local community and Vale of Evesham. Referrals are also made by the congregation of the church. Caring Hands also provides drop-in meals twice a week and volunteering opportunities.

Gateway Church Caerphilly CIO is a Christian Church based CIO, who's object is the promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in and through the services, informal meetings, courses, clubs, networks and events which it organizes. We believe and emphasis family and community in many of of our activities, with the aim of doing life together under the guidance of our Christian God.

We have Sunday morning church services and midweek meetings for prayer and bible study to encourage believers and advance the Christian faith. We also run a Foodbank on a Wednesday to serve those in need in the community
