Religious Activities

The charity's aim and objectives are to promote the Greek Orthodox faith, relieving poverty and sickness, advancing education and development through a Greek Orthodox Centre. A centre has been established for this purpose.

Having regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on Public Benefit, the Trustees declare they have advanced the religious and other charitable works which include: worship and prayer, artistic work, ministry to visitors, individual spiritual accompaniment, general pastoral ministry, retreat work, website ministry.

WE OPERATE AS CHINNOR COMMUNITY CHURCH AND WE ARE LOCATED ON THE HIGH STREET IN CHINNOR, OXFORDSHIRE. WE HAVE A FULL TIME PASTOR AND OUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SUNDAY WORSHIP, SMALL GROUPS ,YOUTH,MENS,LADIES,PARENT AND TODDLERS GROUPS. WE ARE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN OUR COMMUNITY AS WELL AS SUPPORTING OVERSEAS MISSIONS.

St Paul's Parochial Church Council has the responsibility of cooperating with the incumbent, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The PCC is also responsible for the maintenance of the Church building.

We are committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship in our churches and to become part of the parish community. We offer opportunities to learn about the gospel; we provide pastoral care; we have outreach work.We also provide opportunities for social gatherings with some special care for the elderly.

We are a friendly and all-age Baptist church family in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. We meet on Sundays for worship including a children's work called JAM Club. We have numerous other activities including house groups, prayer meetings, a monthly Friday lunch for the elderly, a Friday evening children's group, a toddler group, and we host Scout and Guide uniformed groups

Wolverton Evangelical Church operates in Wolverton and provides Sunday morning and evening services to which everyone is welcome and we also provide meetings for; Parent and toddlers, primary-age children, youth group and seniors group. We also run a market stall in Wolverton.

Provide religious education in Islam, arrange social & burial services, provide for the poor, promote & advance interfaith dialogue, establish & maintain Mosque, encourage the practice of the Islamic religion as taught by Shia Ithna-Asheri Sharia among the Shia community, hold and arrange Islamic ceremonies.

We are a Christian church based in Harrogate and meeting Sunday mornings, 10am at 93 High Street, Starbeck, HG2 7LH. We operate various activities including Sunbeams (mother and toddler group), Extend (for the over 60's), CAP Release (for those with life controlling dependencies), CAP Life Skills (helping those on low income), CAP Job Club (for unemployed), children & youth work.

WE DO THIS BY RUNNING YOUTH CLUB ACTIVITIES AT OUR CENTER BASE; THE CORE, CHAPEL STREET EGREMONT AS WELL AS OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND TRIPS.WE PROVIDE WORKSHOPS AROUND RISK TAKING BEHAVIOR .INVOLVE THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS LITTER PICKING.

Provides grant support for places of worship, qualifying organisations and individuals, the degree of which is at the discretion of the relevant County Council.

The ministry is to reach the whole world preaching the truth and giving an example of the works of the Holy Spirit. We expect all our church members to be holy as God is Holy. We aim to help the destitute, under-privileged widows and orphans in society and minister to and serve them with respect and dignity.

The principle activities of the charity is the furtherance of the general religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain in the area pf Craven District and Keighley Town Council areas and beyond. The charity owns and maintains 5 Quaker Meeting Houses and 1 closed burial ground and 2 open burial grounds. The charity operates a Bunk Barn at Airton.

The Church's activities include a Sunday morning service, midweek Life Groups and Wellbeing groups, a distribution centre for Newham Foodbank, NEWway Night Shelter, dedicated pastoral visiting team who are committed to pastoral visits which includes anyone living locally with a need. fellowship groups and weekly prayer meetings

Beacon Church Blackpool is a parish church in central Blackpool. For us church is more about family than just Sundays - We meet together regularly for different activities, such as stay & play, park runs, meals, small groups and fun - alongside our Sunday services The 11, and Families at Four.
