The PCC represents the Anglican parish covering Botley and North Hinksey. As such, working with the rector, other clergy and volunteer members, it provides religious services and pastoral support to all who live in the parish, and takes an active role in the community working for the good of all.

The work of CMC includes but is not limited to working within the local and broader communities to offer support, counselling and a chance to improve the quality of life. Promoting activities which further the vision of Christ Church Exmouth which is "living and sharing God's amazing love". Bread of Life Ministries Bristol (BOLM) is an independent Pentecostal church. Bread of Life Ministries have in the last year reached out to the community by organising activities such as youth events, quiz competitions, women's breakfast meetings, prayer summit and annual conferences which has greatly benefited the membership and the community as a whole.

The role of the Governors is now principally the upkeep and the maintenance of Holy Cross Church, Crediton and the churchyard; the Chancel at St Martins Church, Exminster; the upkeep of St Lawrence Chapel, Crediton and some responsibility for St Boniface Church, Knowle, Crediton.

We hold services of Christian worship, and services of comfort and rites of passage.We seek to engender community and henve a sense of cohesion. We do so through servies and the use of the Parish Hall, which we own entirely.Via the Parish Hall, we provide events for all sections of the local community, as a means of supporting the community and enabling it to thrive and prosper.
