The Benefice comprises 3 churches-the parish of St Nicholas serving the community of Godstone;St Stephen's church serving the community of South Godstone; the parish of St John serving the community of Blindley Heath. The primary function is to provide a faith and worship centre in each community in accordance with the traditional parochial and pastoral ministry of the Church of England

To raise funds by subscription or other means in order to be able to assist the Dean & Chapter of Ely Cathedral in the advancement of the religious, pastoral, musical and educational work of the Cathedral including the preservation of its fabric and the ornaments and furnishings thereof.

We provide a space for worship and community activities. We operate from a church and hall. We hold services for worship and community activities such as coffee shop.

Teddington Methodist Church teaches Christianity through the provision of regular public acts of worship. It has an active Junior Church and an open coffee morning every Saturday for the local community. It runs a Parents and Under 3s Group, which is an example of the outworking of Christian principles. The Church is strong on pastoral care and supports many other charities.

The church operates weekly Sunday worship services where the community meets to pray and worship God to advance their spiritual development with their maker. The service includes the study of the scriptures, prayer, singing, and listening to sermons. The church also performs communion and baptism services as part of worship. The Church spreads the gospel also through offering free counseling

Crockenhill Baptist Church aims to advance the Christian faith through weekly services of worship and preaching, midweek groups for Bible study and prayer, and regular evangelistic events. It also provides financial support to other Christian charities. The activities of the church are carried out in accordance with the basis of faith set out in the church handbook.

Running Sunday services and prayer meetings, conducting seminars in the church with proven ministers of the faith to guide members in the various aspect of Christian faith, support for other charities and Christian events, and involving in economic and community development.

Religious Activities

The Cornwall Historic Churches Trust was formed in 1955 to assist in the restoration and repair of Cornish churches which have architectural or historic merit. The Trust is a registered charity and churches and chapels of all denominations are eligible to apply for assistance.

A variety of services on Sunday and Thursday's offer people a selection of opportunities to worship. During the week we have a number of activities catering for all age ranges with special events in the year. There is a focus on wellbeing and young people (Girls Brigade, Brownies and Guides, toddlers, musical memories, link clubs, reading groups)

The trust operates as a church established in Wolverhampton. The church supports church members and others through the activities of the church.

St Thomas' Church proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ by witness and example to the whole community of Lydiate and Downholland.It has been a busy year, however on the whole the PCC is pleased with it's achievements against the objectives as set out in the Annual Report (Page 4).
