A part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain we hold regular worship services and weekly activities to teach and promote the Christian faith within our town. We also support a range of other Charites through regular giving.

Our aim is the proclamation and furtherance of the Christian Gospel and the preaching and teaching of the word of God.Activities include; regular public worship open to all, teaching Christianity through sermons, courses and groups, Pastoral work and building community. We also seek to serve and support the local community through a variety of groups and activities.

The principal activity is that of a Church, the principle purpose is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

Horsecastle Evangelical Church is a Bible-centred, family church looking to serve people. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that His death and resurrection are good news for everyone who trusts in Him. We aim to live out our faith in Christ in the community around us and we welcome as many people as possible to join in any of our regular activities, regardless of belief or background.

The Charity provides both religious and secular support for the local community. This is done through various events, meetings and outreaches throughout the year.

The Grateful Church RCCG currently fulfils its objectives by observing the following activities; 1. Youth Center, Training & Development2. Worship Centre, the organisation meets weekly for Christian worship, ministering in songs and Christian teachings3. Counselling and Drop in session4. Mothers and Toddlers Group5. Community Safety Awareness & Health Advice6. Food Bank

Y Ffowndri provides volunteers and initiatives for community development in Church Village, Llantwit Fardre, Tonteg and in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

The PCC is committed to enabling as many as possible to worship in church and become part of our parish community. Services put faith into practice through prayer, scripture, music and sacrament.We endeavour to provide pastoral care to those in need in the parish, together with mission and outreach workTo facilitate this it is important that we maintain the fabric of the church building.

Religious activities

Our Mosque provide a centre for our prayers and worship and for the activities associated with our faith.The mosque is open all day for daily and Friday prayers. During the week we have over 100 people who regular attend daily prayers and over 300 who attend Friday prayer. The mosque prepare food during Ramadan for those attending mosque who wish to break their fast together.
