Currently we are working on retaining community services for health and wellbeing and community engagement to access borough-wide services in the local area. We provide access to a range of activities including martial arts class, Sunday church group, choir practice session, a foodbank servjce, healthy eating and dietary group, badminton sport club, over 55's social club and digital discovery I.T

Emmanuel has a responsibility for all the people who live in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Wylde Green.We have a strong children and youth element seen in our choirs and many other activities geared towards the younger members of the Parish and Church. Music is a strong suit for Emmanuel. Our Church Hall offers a range of activities provided by community organisations.

We are a church in Whitley, South Reading. We also run a community project with a number of groups and activities, including providing a venue for other local churches to meet, development courses, emergency food parcels. We also host a gardening project.

The activities of ONE are for the benefit of the general public and are undertaken as the Church Council feels fit.They are:a, to advance the Christian Faith.b, to help relieve sickness and financial hardship as well as promoting and preserving good health by the provision of funds, goods and services.c, to help advance and support education.

To advance the Christian religion in East Grinstead and the surrounding areas for the benefit of the public in particular but without limitation through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature to enlighten others about the Christian religion. We hold Regular worship services 3 times a week, outreach, home studies and fellowship activities relating to the learning and furthering of the gospel of Jesus Chist. Our programmes are all aimed at involving our regular congregation and have an emphasis toward welcoming local visitors. The objects of the Friends of St. Mary's Church Alverstoke shall be to raise funds as necessary to maintain, repair,preserve, improve, beautify and reconstruct for the benefit of the public the fabric of the Church of St. Mary Alverstoke in monuments, fixtures, fittings, jurniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard.
