The charity exists to provide and maintain Lawton Memorial Hall, a community facility open to all for social, educational and recreational purposes. The Trust gives particular consideration to meeting social need - e.g. for the elderly- within its area of benefit which is largely within SE Cheshire and N. Staffs. The Trust is mainly self-funding.

The provision of a place of worship and conduct of Christian services

To advance the Christian Faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statements of belief appearing in the schedule, through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, pastoral care and outreach work.

The charity's activities are the furtherance of the Christian faith by worship services, bible college, evangelism and acts of practical and community service. We support missionaries working in Ghana, Zimbabwe and Cyprus. We also hold annual conferences which attract overseas visitors.
