House of Worship

The Church Office exists to support leadership and ministry work that happens behind the scenes. We bring helpful and encouraging content to equip and support those involved in church administration, church leadership and structuring church life. The Church Office is currently a free to access resource base for information and templated policies and documents contained on its website.

To provide a hall for the benefit of the mostly local community. Activities include, private hire for weddings, children's play group, baby sensory, quilters. children's parties, tango. short mat bowls, keep fit, yoga, line dancing, badminton, , tea dances, Women's Institute, line dancing, busy bees,Parish Church Council, Parish Council, market, Zumba, Blood Doning, and PRUB etc.

Provision of a Community (& Church) Hall for meetings/lectures/classes and other forms of recreation/leisure activity with the aim of improving the condition of life for inhabitants of Bridport without distinction of political/religious or other opinions. A supervised volunteer committee manages the halls' letting/cleaning/insurance/services/repairs and maintenance on a non-profit making basis.

The advancement of the Christian faith in such a way as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide.The Church meets each Sunday for worship, teaching and ministry. We welcome all people to come to our services whether they are Christian or have little or no faith.We hold weekly prayer meetings, Bible study, and meeting to support other charitable mission organisations.

Current activities:The Slymbridge Village Hall provides:-The possibility for a large group of organisations to meet, e.g.: Horticultural Society,History Society,Dog Training, Parish Council, the Slimbridge variety Group, church meetings, Village Hall social group meetings-Horticultural shows-Variety performance evenings

Spiritist Psychological Society (the Society) promote a moral framework based on Christian values. Presented by Spiritism as a science, philosophy & morality, including its psychological application, holding public worship, spiritual instruction, & practice of charitable activities such as spiritual healing, counselling and support of people in need.

The charity supports the work of St Laurence Church Reading by contributing to clergy stipend and worship resources.
