The principal activity of the company in the period under review that of to relieve poverty, sickness, distress and promote health, provide food and shelter to general public and in particular the member of Muslim Asian community in the UK and elsewhere.

The charity provides relief of the aged who are in need of care and attention, the poor who are in need, hardship or distress and advances religion according to the tenets of the Islamic faith.

Al-Qiyas Welfare operates in Jhelum, Pakistan. Our aim is to provide financial support for funerals by providing shroud and essential items necessary for burial according to Islamic tradition, free of cost to families in need who have lost loved ones. We help those living in poverty or financial hardship by providing food, clothes and help with medical or school related costs.

The organisation runs a weekend/evening supplementary school providing children aged 4-14 with Islamic and character education. The educational program consists of three broad subject areas.1) the acquisition of classical Arabic, 2) secondly a moral and spiritual education3) children learn the importance of community, citizenship and how to give back to the society/community

The objects of the CIO are to advance the Islamic religion for the public benefit byholding prayer meetings, education and training and the celebration of religiousfestivals.

LCM is an umbrella organisation representing Mosques and religious teaching institutions in Lancashire. We serve the communities of Lancashire, working on issues of education, employment, health, crime and antisocial behaviour, media, quality assurance, young people and families. We seek to promote the awareness of the faith of Islam, fostering understanding and better community relations.

Riverside Community Centre hosts various user groups, including Parkstone Kids Club - childcare before & after school, Parkstone Pre-school - pre-school childcare. Yoga, Riverside Brownies, Riverside Rainbows, Riverside Guides, St John's Newland Church, J Club - all community groups. ABC - parent & babies/toddler group. Ahmadiyya Muslim Association.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, WELFARE, AND SUPPORT

The principle activities of the charity include: weekend & monthend prayer meetings; Every second Friday night prayers; weekend classes for adults and children; observing Laylatul Qadr night of power prayer; monthly youth activities; yearly Eid festival prayers and celebrations, annual Graduation thanksgiving, family summer outings/trips/funfair and regular visit, advice and advocacy as necessary.

The objectives of the charity are to proliferate and advance education and awareness of Islam any where deemed required in the world, this will through the provision of financial aid and materials, including but not limited to, books, furniture, stationary, clothing and electronic hardware/software and also through the construction of schools, colleges, universities and training centers.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE FAITH AND RELIGIOUS PRACTICES OF ISLAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE QUR'AN AND THE SUNNAH IN THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH.

Organising social gatherings for Indonesian Muslim Community, organising sport & arts & cultural events, ocassionally organising fund raising to support people in need or victims of natural disasters, providing information about the religion of islam and muslim, and participating in interfaith events (dialogues).
