By maintaining an Orthodox Jewish Community & Synagogue in Leicester we will: Create programmes of Jewish learning;Develop social/cultural activities for members/the wider Jewish community of Leicestershire; Provide plots & burial rites following the Orthodox Jewish tradition;Contribute to welfare and charitable purposes in connection with the Jewish religion;Promote religious harmony

The objects of the Charity are 1) The advancement of Orthodox Jewish Education and Religion 2) Such other charitable purposes, trusts and organisations, which the trustees may from time to time determine.

Chabad of CE & WH focuses on creating opportunities for local Jewish people to engage in the various experiences Jewish life has to offer through various events and programmes. Servicing Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Highgate & area, Chabad also creates informal opportunities for people outside the Jewish community to engage and obtain an understanding and appreciation of Jewish life and culture.

We provide a religious service to Jewish people in the area.

1. Advancement of Judaism in the north west London area by the provision and maintenance of facilities for public worship and the provision of classes in Hebrew and religion. 2. To advance such other charitable purposes as the trustees may determine and as are recognised by the laws of England and Wales.

The charity's activities are the advancement of Jewish education, Orthodox Judaism, the arts, culture and heritage of Jews and other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

Fund and support 1. Jewish communities throughout the world. 2. The promotion of the Jewish faith worldwide. 3. Medical research and healthcare provision worldwide.

To advance Orthodox Judaism as expounded by the teachings of Chabad Lubavitch and to advance the understanding of Judaism amongst Jews and people of other faiths, primarily amongst students in the South East Counties and on the South Coast of England.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST CONTINUE TO BE THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND INFIRMITY AMONG PERSONS OF THE JEWISH FAITH.

As detailed in the charity objects

(a) provision of orthodox Jewish education for children enrolled in the school.(b) Provision of necessary security arrangements to protect children enrolled in the school.(c) Contributions to the upkeep of the premises, as required by voluntary aided schools.

1. To promote general charitable purposes primarily but not exclusively for the benefit of people of Israel through: (I) The advancement of the Jewish religion through facilitation or assisting in the provision of facilities. (II) The advancement of education of Jewish texts, culture and heritage.

the trustees raise funds which they then distribute in accordance with the objects of the trust which are to promote Jewish religious education and to relieve poverty amongst persons of the Jewish faith.

The relief of Poverty, particularly of members of Jewish communities, living or working in Greater Manchester or Cheshire, by providing such persons with vouchers exchangeable for food, or basic household goods, which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.Any other charitable activity under the law of England and Wales as the trustees see fit.
