1) promoting academic, clinical, professional and social links between Jewish doctors, dentists and associated health care professionals in the UK, and between the UK and Israel in the field of medicine and healthcare2) awarding scholarships for UK medical students to spend a recognised 'elective' time in Israel; and for medical students active in the sJMA to do approved "electives" abroad.

This year the charity organised a family day at a local farm, an indulgence evening at a local beauticians and a first aid talk for parents. The charity also designed tea towels for each class and a school calendar to sell to families at the school. The purpose of these activities is to raise funds to acquire items to benefit the children attending the school.

The advancement of the Orthodox Jewish faith primarily but not exclusively by administering and maintaining the Beir Mordechai Synagogue ("the Synagogue") and by providing thereat facilities for public communal worship for members of the Jewish faith. The objects of the charity are to advance orthodox Jewish education in accordance with the doctrine and principles of the orthodox Jewish faith as laid down in the Shulchan Aruch. These objectives are provided and maintained through the constituent schools.

The CIO advances of the Orthodox Jewish faith in such ways as the charity trustees shall think fit by supporting the institute for advanced Talmudical studies known as Koilel Antwerp Hachodosh in Belgium and its students.

The synagogue holds services every Friday night and and marks all festivals and high holidays. Many school visits take place to meet the national curriculum. A Jewish studies and Art/Music group meets regularly and there are various social activities. National Holocaust day is observed along with local council and other faith groups.

To advance the education of pupils at the local Manchester Jewish Schools by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the schools.

The principle activity is the education, relief and advancement in life of Jewish children and youth under the age of 25 and to enable such children and youth to develop their physical, spiritual and mental capacities.

The main activity of the charity is to support the Emek Learning Centre in Israel which provides support and learning facilities in Jewish studies to English speakers in Jerusalem together with an advanced learning programme for Yeshivah graduates.
