The charity has promoted Jewish religious education by engaging in research of historical Hebrew manuscripts and publishing the results of this research for the public benefit. Donations are also made to institutions which further the objects of the trust.

The principal object of the charity is, at the Trustees discretion, to benefit persons of Jewish ancestory and/or persons professing the Jewish faith and/or persons of Israeli nationality and/or persons resident in Israel.

Choir raises funds to advance Judaism and in particular Jewish Prayer, though participation in synagogue service; singing at public performances, in television/radio broadcasts, recordings and through other media; and for the purpose of healing through singing.

The charitable company's objects are to promote for the public benefit the conservation, protection and improvement of Jewish cemeteries in England and Wales as places of historic interest and as educational resources.
