Strategic intent is to proclaim the Christian faith in Filton and to worship God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We aim to draw all people to the love and fellowship of the Christian faith by teaching, sustaining and nurturing the worshipping community, and by outreaching beyond the parish into the wider world.

Our work is to spread the Good News of our faith by 'Making Jesus Known'. Our mission has a two-fold strategy: to deepen and enrich our own worshipping life and also to find creative ways of making connections with the local community to both introduce the Christian story and deepen engagement with all in the local area.

St. Francis, Strood has the responsibility of cooperating with the incumbent to promote the entire mission of the church in the ecclesiastical parish. This mission encompasses pastoral care, evangelistic outreach, and various social and community activities.

The activities of the charity are to promote the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical for the benefit of the public and the advancement of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England.

The Parochial Church Council of St Giles has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in order to promote in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church of England, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

Promoting the whole mission of the church through provision of facilities to the local community such as a parish hall and magazine, distributed free to all homes in the parish. Regular public worship open to all, the Church is open every day. Pastoral work includes visiting the sick and bereaved, and attending worship in local schools. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. We have a Family Outreach worker and a Pre-School, and halls for local groups and clubs. We support other charities and have link missionaries in Africa.

Our activities promote, in the ecclesiastical parish of St Philip, the whole mission of the Church. We provide a place for Christian worship in St Philip's Church with services on Wednesdays and Sundays. We reach out into the local and wider community with activities and fundraising events and we hire our church hall to groups and family events.
