Religious activities

The PCC of St Peter's Kinver helps to promote the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical providing facilities for public worship, pastoral care and spiritual, moral and intellectual development andpromoting Christian values, hospitality and service by members of the Church in and to their communities, to the benefit of individuals and society as a whole.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

The Charity makes an annual donation, based on funds available, to the Diocese of Coventry to support work in parishes where the congregation are unable to support the full costs of their own minister. In addition various individual fund raising events are organized each year and a portion of the profits is donated to charities decided by the Church Council.

Support and maintain Grade 1 listed church building. Raise funds for various church activities and mission overseas.

As a growing and active church, we have a mission to reach out to our community with the love of Christ to make a practical difference. This is especially true for children and families who we meet in schools, our community and church activities.

The PCC is charged with caring for the worship of God, for one another, for the neighbourhood, for mission and outreach. It must exercise responsible stewardship for its property, finance and church activities. Our Mission Statement is - To know Jesus and to make Him known.
