The PCC of River Church is the body that oversees the provision of Christian worship within the parish of SS Peter & Paul, River, Dover under the auspices of the Church of England. It offers regular preaching, teaching and offering of the Sacraments and through evangelistic outreach in River and Dover.

St John with St Philip provides weekly worship (in person and online), Alpha courses, social events and many other events serving the community of Nelson from its church building St John's Church Centre. It also operates St Philip's Centre (formerly Grassroots) which exists to offer hospitality, help and hope for people on the margins.

Provision of regular church services, baptism, funerals and weddings, with other supporting activities (social events, meetings, private prayer etc). Links with local primary and secondary schools, community projects and Lymm and District Churches Together. Pastoral support for care homes and other groups and individuals.

The parish provides two buildings which are available for Christian worship and prayer, also community centre facilities including a CIC pre-school and a not-for-profit cafe.

The Chaity is responsible for the whole mission of the two Churches that serve the Parish, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The Parish is served by St. Peter's Church, Caverswall and St. Andrew's Church, Weston Coyney. Key activities include weekly Worship services, community activities for all ages, Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, links to the local schools.

PCC of St Mary de Haura- Promoting in the parish , the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical through regular public worship which is open to all, and by providing a quiet space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work visiting the sick bereaved and care homes.

Provides a place of worship, generally advances and educates people about religion. Provides pastoral care and outreach. All within the Christianity of the Church of England.

To care for the Parish Church of St. Petroc's Padstow and the Mission Church of St. Saviour's Trevone.To support the parish priest in the mission and ministry of the parish.To reach out into the community and witness to it.To act as a focus for raising funds for charitable causes and supporting local not-for-profit community organisations.

The purpose of the charity is promoting the whole mission of the Church. The church is open daily for private prayer and services are held on Sundays, Wednesdays and Christian Festivals, and family occasions. Services are also held in residential homes and the local sports club. The vicar is very involved with the village primary school. Members of the PCC organise fund raising social events.

We are committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord though teaching the Bible. Public worship is open to all. Pastoral work includes visiting the sick and bereaved and helping couples prepare for weddings and baptisms. We run Christian activities for children and young people, and courses for those investigating the Christian faith. We support those promoting the gospel in the UK and overseas.
