St Marys church is a Magnificat parish in the Bath and Wells Diocese. Our vision is to love, serve and welcome all, as a nourishing community, passionate and energised by our faith. Over the last number of years we have been growing as a community hub which exists for our local community of Bridgwater, and the surrounding area, and encourages flourishing of life for all.

Parochial Church Council

Spreading of the Gospel in the local Parish and beyond. Outreach work to youth and others in the Parish and from elsewhere.

Our primary objective is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrine and practice of the Church of England, and our aim is to be a vibrant community Church with a welcoming heart sharing Christ's love by serving the Parish of Fishbourne and beyond.

We worship God and provide opportunities for fellowship. We nurture the musical tradition. We visit the sick and encourage prayer. We provide education in the Christian Faith and through our minister support learning and worship in local schools.We care for the church building. We support the needy at home and abroad. We keep the building open and offer funerals, weddings and baptisms.

The Parish of Farleigh consists of four Churches. All Daint's Dummer, St Andrew's Farleigh Wallop, St Leonard's Cliddesden and St Martin's Ellisfield. The churches are open to all for worship. We also have the Clifton Room available at Dummer for church activities. Messy Church and a Play Group is run at Cliddesden Village Hall . Contact any trustee for details.
