To advance the Christian faith in London, the UK and the world; to relieve persons who are in need or hardship or who are aged or sick; to advance education in accordance with Christian principles. The activities of the Trust are executed through the operations of New River Church (formerly known as Unity Church, New River Community Church and New River at Croyland).

The Order fulfils its principal aims through (a) formation, training and continuing education and the promotion of vocations to the Priesthood and religious life (Vocations Promotions) and (b) by prayer and pastoral work in parishes. The work includes teaching, preaching, retreat-giving, chaplaincy in schools and hospitals, and care of the elderly.

We provide a centre for Islamic education and worship

Regular public worship open to all, provision of space for personal prayer, pastoral work, taking religious assemblies at school, teaching of christianity in sermons and small groups, provision of a youth club, supporting charities at home and overseas.

The Church holds services each Sunday and Wednesday and it is open on weekdays for personal prayer and reflection. There is a Sunday School and the church visits local schools to take assemblies. There is a bible Study group.

St Anne's provides a range of opportunities to the local community for Christian worship and the development of their Christian faith. Clergy and church members provide pastoral support to the local population and assist local community organisations through the use of the church and church centre and by managing the operation of the Parish Hall.

TO PROMOTE THE ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGION AND IN PARTICULAR TO MAINTAIN A SYNAGOGUE PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PRAYER, RELIGIOUS WORSHIP AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.

GENERAL CHURCH ACTIVITIES USUAL IN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND

To provide Almshouses for persons of limited financial means aged between 55 and 70 upon initial occupation. Residents must be of good character and members of the Church of England

Warwick Road United Reformed Church is a City Centre Church, which provides an opportunity for public worship, Christian education, and our Church Centre offers an outreach , and enables us to offer a meal , gentle exercise and social support for the elderly.

Speke Baptist Church activities are open to anyone. We run Sunday services, Junior Church, bible-study groups, youth and childrens groups, an elderly lunch club, evangelistic events (eg Family Fun Days and special services), a group for adults with learning dificulties and undertake regular visiting of seniors & local families. We also provide rooms for use by local community groups.

Religious Activities

THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST ARE TO RESTORE, PROTECT AND PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE GRADE 1 LISTED FORMER VICTORIAN CHURCH OF ST STEPHEN'S, HAMPSTEAD, AND TO MAKE PROVISION FOR ITS USE FOR EDUCATION AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF HAMPSTEAD. BUILDING WORK WAS COMPLETED IN 2009. THE PERMANENT TENANT HAS MOVED IN AND THE BUILDING IS NOW OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE.

In Sept. 2010 C.E.T. decided that its object to establish a Christian community centre at the Elmgrove Centre, which it has a lease for, could be furthered more effectively by City Church. A new frontiers church and C.E.T. would concentrate instead on setting up a 24/7 prayer room there at Elmgrove Centre, continue its weekday Bible and prayer hour, start a new project putting a 24/7 Bible reading
