Christian Science Society, Portsmouth and Chichester is a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston Massachusetts, USA. It provides Sunday Services, Wednesday Testimony meetings, Bible Lesson Read-overs, metaphysical meetings and a Reading Room that provides literature relating to the teachings of Christian Science.

The Thompson Educational Trust was set up in February 1997 with the aim of providing funding for the advancement of the education of young people, particularly in the areas of medical research, science, literature, music and sport.

Our charity's current activities are: A Saturday supplementary school of classes in mother tongue and national curriculum in maths english and science for children aged 5-16. Sport activities for children on Saturday. Outings for children and their families during the holidays.

The aim and objective of the Choir is to educate the general public in the art and science of music. The choir performs four concerts a year and other than Christmas in the choral tradition. We employ internationally acclaimed soloists and use professional musicians to accompany us.
