Members meet together for talks and various social activities. We meet with other W I s within our District and/or Federation for social activities, talks, demonstrations, and workshops connected with subjects such as home economics, arts and crafts, sports and leisure, performing arts, science, health and social welfare.

Our group co-ordinates activities within the Don Gorge for the benefit of the wildlife, nature and environment, businesses which operate within it and the public who visit. The area includes a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and we try to educate people into respecting what they come to see. As parking space is limited, we encourage access on foot, cycle or boat.

The Downs Light Railway Trust furthers the education of young people aged from 7 years and upwards in practical engineering mediums and railway operation, preserving the world's oldest private miniature railway. These activities promotion of youth engagement and career opportunities for young people in heritage and national railways, and other STEM related industries.

Activities & events to advance the education of women for the public benefit in all areas including: issues of political & social importance; music, drama etc.; all branches of agriculture, craft, home economics, science, health and social welfare. At LanSEN together we offer a wide range of activities such as, science groups, art groups, exercise groups, therapy groups and gaming groups. we will also be running film club and silent discos.
