The Promotion of medical research on terms that the results of such research are published, including (but not restricted to) research into the field of biophysics, research into the causes and treatment of neurological diseases and the study of electro-magnetic fields in living things and the use of such fields in the treatment of disease.

The object of this church is to promote Spiritual Healing and the public observance and teaching of the religious philosophy of Spiritualism having regard for the Seven Principals.

We are a Spiritualist Church, and part of the Spiritualists National Union. We hold a weekly Divine Service on Sundays and Demonstrations of Mediumship at other times during the week. We also hold 2 sessions of Spiritual Healing - on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. We follow the 7 Principles of Spiritualism contained within our Philosophy.

Inbetweenears raises money to help young adults from 18 to 40 who have brain tumours. The charity raises awareness of this dreadful disease and contribute some of the money raised to Brain Tumour Research.

The society enables the exchange of information on deep-sea biology through its membership program, digital communication platforms and the organisation and sponsorship of scientific meetings. We issue grants such as travel and career development awards. We give annual and triennial prizes recognising excellence in research. We conduct a mentoring program connecting senior and junior researchers.

The IAFSS encourages research into, and the application of, science and engineering to prevent and mitigate the adverse effects of fires and provides a forum for sharing and disseminating this knowledge. The purpose of The Nottingham Education Trust is advance the education of young people, under the age of 21 and permanently resident in the City of Nottingham to pursue activities outside of their formal education, particularly in Music & the Arts, the Sciences, Languages, Travel & Cultural Experience, Sports & Outdoor & Adventurous pursuits, who would otherwise not have the opportunity.
