Upkeep and maintenance of Ruthin Ambulance Hall, which was built for use of the St John Ambulance & Red Cross Groups as well as other community groups.

CFRs are volunteers who are trained to a nationally recognised qualification by West Midlands Ambulance Service and dispatched by them to medical emergencies in our area (Fulford, Meir Heath, Blythe Bridge, Cresswell, Leigh, Milwich, Sandon, Hilderstone & Moddershall) and further afield if required. Providing life-saving care in those crucial first few minutes prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

Goodwill activities to our 4 villages including: Car ambulance service providing transport to local doctors, dentists and hospitals when villager unable to drive; various goodwill activities for pensioners such as an afternoon tea and Christmas parcels; and donations to individuals and local organisations including the school. Fundraising events such as an annual fete and occasional quiz night

Burton Community Association (BCA) seeks to promote facilities in the interest of health and social welfare for recreation and leisure time, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community of the village of Burton.The BCA has raised funds and established a children's play area, provided a public accessed defibrillator and work closely with local authorities and Police.

THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH WITHIN THE CENTRAL SURREY AREA, BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINED COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDER VOLUNTEERS TO ATTEND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AS DIRECTED BY THE SOUTH EAST COAST AMBULANCE SERVICE. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVISION OF TRAINING IN THE PRINCIPLES OF FIRST AID

Our volunteers, who are all members of local churches, patrol the town centre on Saturday nights from 10.30 pm until 3.30 am to care, listen and help anyone who is out in the town. We pick up bottles and give out flip flops and lollipops. We work in partnership with the police and local authority. We aim to provide a friendly face on the streets and to give assistance where we can.

The Charity provides two rapid response vehicles to the local ambulance trust. Manned by volunteers, this asset can be dynamically positioned to where there is a need in Lincolnshire. The asset enables advance life saving skills to be utilised before a front line ambulance arrives. Emergencies ranging from breathing difficulties, chest pains to multiple vehicle RTCs are covered by the volunteers.

We assist the Police and RSPCA in any investigations of abuse of badgers or setts and advise or assist individuals or organisations where badgers may present problems. The Friends of Nepal Ambulance Service works to reduce the suffering, disability and mortality for the people of Nepal by providing clinical leadership, logistical, financial and training support for the Nepal Ambulance Service, which was established in April 2011.

The group was established in 1980 to promote the welfare of Badgers in the Wirral and Cheshire areas.This includes giving advice to: -Private individualsFarmersLand developersAlong with acting as subject experts on behalf of the Police in cases of Badger persecution.The group has a Badger Vaccination programme in Cheshire.
