No activity within Tinners Trust has taken place since April 2017 due to a theft from the charity that was reported to the police. All fundraising and donations have ceased and the trustees are now in contact with the Charity Commission to dissolve the charity and all funds will be transferred to West Riding Kidney Patients Association

The Charity's is now closed. The bank account closed and all remaining assets transferred to the Metropolitan Polce Museums Fund in 2024 the purpose of the charity having been achieved.

The charity provides RSK shelter kit disaster preparedness and response training to aid agencies, first responders and communities living at risk of hazards worldwide. In 2017 and 2018 our work was focused on helping refugees and IDPs in Myanmar and Bangladesh. In 2021 and 2022 we are training Nepal Red Cross staff and volunteer disaster response teams in Nepal.

To advance the education of doctors, nurses, midwives, paramedics and othermedical professionals in the field of medicine, including by the provision of formaltraining and by providing placement opportunities for individuals to continue theirlearning, development and education through practice and the exchange of skills andexperience.

Longford Neighbourhood Services. provides a place where people can socialise, find assistance, access: training, money advice, health workers, housing, the police and their ward councillors since 1996. The centre has made a difference in Longford with its high levels of unemployment; drug misuse, fear of crime. It also gives elderly residents a place to meet to reduce loneliness.

Objectives are the relief of sickness and preservation and protection of good health by:a) providing trained volunteers to attend medical emergencies in the area of Harrogate as directed by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust prior to the arrival of ambulance clinicians;b) provide training and familiarisation in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and lifesaving treatment

We undertake community based activities which bring together parents, guardians, children and our consultants to educate them on issues pertaining child sexual abuse and offer techniques and guidelines on how to stop and or prevent such abuses. Professionals that support our activities include police, doctors, mental health personnel, social workers and self defence experts.

We work with other organisations including the local and county councils, the police, to ensure that our needs are catered for and also to provide a channel for them to get their own messages into the BAME community. It is only by working together that we can ensure that BAME community in our area of Birmingham can play its full and proper part in the wider community.

The Trust arose from the legacy of former Provost Marshal (Army) Brigadier Brian Thomas CBE who wished its income be spent on the Royal Military Police (RMP) on scholarships & bursaries; expeditions; grants to the RMP Museum & Church, memorial commemorations & festivals; aid research for histories etc; & activities fostering cooperation between international Military Police forces.
