To promote and support by way of the making of grants of money in third world countries to provide relief of financial need and suffering among victims of natural and other kinds of disasters and prevention or relief of poverty for the public use by providing single mothers with grants, goods, and other services to support their families basic needs.

The charity supports local and international charitable objectives. This includes: support to international disasters and emergencies, eg. tsunamis, earthquakes: general humanitarian support, eg. distribution of medical equipment in the third world; support to local hospices, hospitals and disabled institutions and support to needy individuals.

Callington lions club have about 20 members. These members raise funds giving support to the local community & man power to assist with members of the community when needed. Additionally to this we support various international & uk based lions appeals. eg. Flooding, earthquake & other weather related disasters around the world. We fund raise throughout the year, Honey fair, bingo evenings.

To establish a medium/long term partnership strategy for the protection, prevention and response to fire and other emergencies. St. Anna is a Christian charity committed to the relief of persons suffering hardship as a result of drought, earthquake, flood or other natural disaster, or who by reason of their social or economic conditions are in need of assistance.St. Anna works primarily in East Africa, and its activities are made available to all without regard to race, religion or ethnic background.

Grants are also made to some national or international appeals to relieve poverty, disasters or disease.

The Leonard Trust distributes its income in amounts varying from £500 to £5000 to registered charities ranging from small local ones (Hampshire) to large nationals. Historically we have tended to concentrate on Christian based charities, mental health, and overseas aid, often in response to specific disaster relief. Our remit is wide and we also support many smaller and diverse charities.

The Principal activity of the Charity is that of providing funds for disaster relief worldwide.

In Nepal we have been rebuilding a school that had been completely destroyed in the 2015 earthquake. There are 5 new classrooms, a toilet block and a new drinking water filtration system. We have also recently repainted two school and repaired and replaced desks and chairs. We are currently sponsoring 6 children through their education at the school.

We are a charitable organisation dedicated to alleviating poverty. We provide essential support to the poor and the needy, including food, water, and financial aid through Zakat. Our mission extends to rebuilding lives affected by wars and natural disasters, offering hope and tangible help to those in crisis.
