The people of Nepal are still suffering the effects of a severe humanitarian crisis following the 2015 earthquake. We aim to help facilitate their recovery through the funding and implementation of efficient projects adhering to our core values. To do so, NERF raises funds through events, social media and by approaching donors with collaborative programs designed with Nepalis, for Nepalis.

The charity is inspired to relieve the poverty, advance the education and protect and preserve the health of orphaned girls living in Pakistan, who have lost their parents in natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, in particularly but not exclusively, by the provision of an orphanage, inTehseel Kharyan, District Gujrat of Pakistan and in such other ways as the trustees may see fit.

GLOBAL ZAKAT FUND supports activities that address the abject poverty and disadvantage in Asia, Africa, Middle East and United Kingdom. Main area of focus is emergency disaster relief, humanitarian aid, health, education, skills and employment.

Salaam Foundation provides poverty relief in Pakistan, with dedicated programmes to help the poor and needy by building wells, caring for orphans, providing nutritious food, delivering emergency aid in response to crisis situations and providing healthcare. Salaam Foundation also works in the UK to help homeless people.

The objectives of the fund are the provision of relief in any part of the world for persons suffering from famine or under-nourishment and the provision for the benefit of the public generally of education in the field of food and drink.

We are a local community church. We provide usual church activities from Temple Chapel on the Graig in Pontypridd. We seek to provide overseas aid / famine relief as and when required, as well as supporting charitable works in Uganda, Canada and the USA, and here also in the U.K.

Those individuals or groups of individuals by providing relief and support to alleviate their suffering. Thiswill be by enhancing their facilities, providing clean water, providing education, eradication of disease (e.g.polio eradication), assistance following natural disasters.

Burnley Lions Club (CIO) raises funds from the public through organising events such as dinners; Easter egg tombola in business premises; attendance at fetes. Money is spent for the benefit of communities in Burnley & Pendle & occasional contributions to international disasters through Lions Clubs International Foundation. Spectacles are recycled & trees planted.
