The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity works in partnership with the NHS to support patients and their families at the Arthur Rank House Hospice in Cambridge. The Charity's main financial responsibilities are funding the Day Hospice, providing treatment and support for patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses, Bereavement Counselling, Voluntary Services and the Hospice at Home service

KAIROS Companions in Grief is A Bereavement Counselling & Support Service for Bereaved People throughout Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham. It offers (a) a specialist one-to-one bereavement counselling service; (b) specialist therapeutic bereavement support groups; (c) organisational bereavement advisory service; (d) from 2013, counselling service for bereaved children.

The Laura Centre Derby provides a counselling, advice and support for anyone affected by the loss of a child and for children up to the age of 24. The Centre employs qualified counsellors and psychotherapists to offer a range of individual and group work together with offering support, training, consultation and supervision. The service is free to any bereaved person.

RISE supports two groups of children: young carers (whose lives are affected by a close family member with physical/mental/learning needs/disabilities) and bereaved children (bereaved of a parent or sibling).Children come together to share experiences/worries/emotions but most importantly to have fun with other children in similar situations which helps them to realise that they are not alone.
