The alleviation of the effects of food poverty and specifically to create and operate a food bank in Batley and the surrounding area

Worship services each Sunday, together with activities for children. Tuesday morning distribution of free food to anyone in need. Tuesday community cafe at lunchtime, open to all. Wednesday morning food distribution in partnership with Basingstoke Foodbank (by referral only). Outreach work with local community, schools and chaplaincy to the local hospital.

Malmesbury & District Foodbank operates under the auspices of and in accordance with the regulations of the Foodbank Network, part of the Trussell Trust

We also offer spiritual and emotional counselling for individuals. All of our activities are undergirded by our foundation of faith in Jesus Christ and the principles of Christianity.

Stalham Baptist Church holds worship services, prayer meetings, bible study groups. Children's activities such as PopUp Cafe, Monday Club, Holiday clubs and Fun days. Supports Food bank (who operate from the premises) , has many activities which support the local community including Lunch Club, Coffee & Chat, Table Tennis for the over 60's.Produces a free magazine (Community Scene)

To relieve financial hardship for the public benefit of persons in conditions of need or hardship in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire and other parts of the United Kingdom, as the Trustees may from time to time think fit, by the provision of poverty-preventing & alleviating endeavours.

Provides 3 days supply of Food to clients who have been referred to our services from local professionals.Provides signposting to other sources of support.

The charity's principal outgoings are to fund the projects run in its name, currently principally Hart Foodbank.

The Charity offers 3 services.1. A drop in support centre. All are welcome. We listen over a brew & cake, offer pamphlets on services in the Lancaster. Christian literature, Bibles and prayer on request - no pressure.2. A food bank requiring a referral from an agency, such as Citizens' Advice.3. Advocate for ACTS 435.

Training - to encourage people in areas such as deepening their Christian faith to involvement with the projects we work with. Mercy Ministries - projects such as Food Banks, Drop-ins, Street Ministry, Community Projects/Centres and work with the Homeless, Refugees and Asylum Seekers. Evangelism - We are working to express Godly Love through our belief that everyone has value and purpose.

Each week there is a Sunday service with children's work and fortnightly youth events. Home fellowship groups run for blocks of 10 weeks 3 times a year. A weekly toddler group runs during term time. Regular support is sent to missionaries overseas and UK. The church runs Food Bank sessions weekly to support the local community. Alpha courses are also run twice yearly.

We continue to support national & international humanitarian relief projects tackling poverty and social injustice. We support local (UK) & international communities through the provision of food banks & emergency aid, employment support for local women, assisting displaced refugees internationally continuing to advance our mission to build a better and fairer world for all.

Main activity is to provide direct support to rough sleepers, and the homeless in helping them into accommodation, accompanying them to appointments, assisting with travel costs, providing clothing and food. Clay Cross Foodbank is focused on the prevention or relief of poverty in Clay Cross and surrounding area, in particular, but not exclusively by providing emergency food and holistic support to people in need. We believe that no one in our community should go hungry. We provide support to local people who are referred to us by local care professional agencies.

We are operating as part of the Trussell Trust Foodbank Network, for the prevention and relief of poverty in Nuneaton and surrounding areas by providing emergency food supplies to individuals in need. We receive regular and generous donations of food from a network of stores, businesses, religious groups and individuals across the town. We distribute from four centres and each opens twice a week.
