Our aim is to provide a wide range of activities for the residents on the Friday Hill estate(and surrounding areas) FHCA. FHCA arranges Tea and Coffee mornings, Book Clubs Flower arranging classes, Trips to the seaside and other places of interest, Bike Clubs, Weekly food bank , started as Best Before, now Food Rescue we receive donations from various sources.

Compassion Food Bank is an independent food bank which provides a free emergency food source for people experiencing food poverty in Manchester and also operates a food club providing food parcels at a low cost to the community. We are members of the Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN), the Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation (GMCVO) and Manchester Community Central (MACC).

Changing Lives Forever (CLF) has been operating a Soup Kitchen in Luton town centre feeding the homeless we open every Tuesday and Thursday from 18.30 to 19.30 CLF Food bank started on the 17-11-2016 from a Trailer in the town centre every Thursday evening from 18.30 to 19.30. We know do two nights a week and one Saturday per month.. we are looking for more donations Food, Cloth, and Money.

We run a free book reading club, befriending, socials with recreational activities and guest speakers. Relieve of poverty through charity shop and food bank. We also provide educational support for all age groups including black and ethnic minorities and asylum seekers.

The charity, unfortunately, did not operate so far due to the changed context during the pandemic and due to the busy calendar of all the trustees in their professional engagements. We plan to change this during the next 2022 and start the work we planned with night shelter and Foodbank first in Newham, London and later everywhere possible in London.

fOOD PARCELS TO THE POOR OF THE PARISH

To advance the Evangelical Christian religion in England for the benefit of the public, mainly but not exclusively, through religious education, the celebration of religious festivals, the holding of prayer meetings, enlightening others about the Christian faith and providing outreach and pastoral care for the community, including emergency food and other supplies to those in need.

We operate a day centre for the those in need which also includes food parcels. We help to rehabilitate ex-offenders. We provide training and education to support young people. We arrange awareness events in the community's we serve.

The Charity is supporting Mission Ukraine UK CIC, receiving both general and directed funds and assets which are donated to them.We are also supporting Community Energy projects in the UK and food bank funding to the extent our resources permit
