Smethwick CAN works with local communities to tackle poverty, build community, increase aspiration and support the most vulnerable. We provide a wide range of services through local churches and community groups including places of welcome to build community; supporting people towards work and social enterprise to increase aspiration; and provide crisis relief to support the most vulnerable.

Sponsorship of disadvantaged students in Ethiopia.Construction of the Nicolas Robinson School in Mekele, Ethiopia. Provision of books and equipment for the School. Construction and operation of a pilot technical training centre: Nicolas College.During the on-going civil war in the country, providing humanitarian support to staff, students and their families.

i) The Objectives of the charity is the advancement and furtherance of the Jewish Religion and Jewish Religious education and the alleviation of poverty amongst the Jewish community throughout the world.ii) Other charitable activities that the Trustee's may from time to time determine.

Alubadia Orphanage is a charity organisation that provides relief of poverty and hardship among children in Pakistan, in particular, but not exclusively those who are Orphans, through the provision of shelter, food, health, education and other such charitable services as the Trustees may from time to time deem fit.

The principal activity of the company is the running of Whitwell Hall Country Centre for boarding and camping for school residentials. To relieve those in need by reason of their youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage by such means as the trustees determine

The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income thereof upon trust for the relief of poor and distressed brother masons or their poor and distressed widows and children, or the benefit of masonic charities or other charitable societies and objects absolutely.
