The Trustees hold the capital and income of the Trust Fund upon trust to apply the income and such part of the capital as they see fit, for the purpose of relieving poverty, hardship or distress. The augmentation of the stipends of parsons, vicars, curates and ministers officiating in the churches and chapels of the Church of England, the relief of poverty among the clergy and the advancement of religion in accordance with the faith and doctrine of the Church of England (see Trustees' Report in annual Trust Accounts for further details).
