Open Doors Project (Hull), based at Princes Avenue Methodist Church, supports asylum seekers and refugees in the Hull area, by befriending, counselling, listening, by providing free food parcels, used and new donated items (e.g. clothing and household), limited cash support and housing costs for destitute asylum seekers, language and music sessions, tea/coffee and lunch one day per week.

We cheer the sick, disabled, frail children and the elderly in hospitals, homes, or care settings by providing light entertainment, companionship, activities, food vouchers, and lending CDs, DVDs, toys to ease isolation, improve mental health and physical well-being.

This device, we hope, encapsulates the clubs aim and objective, which is: To provide food, shelter, warmth and friendship to the homeless or lonely. Each Saturday we operate an open kitchen where anyone can get a hot meal and we also provide a bag of food.

Founded in 1983 Kent Enterprise Trust continues its mission in support of the disadvantaged and vulnerable in East Kent. We work to increase peoples' skills, counter social isolation and move people into or nearer to employment or starting their own business. From our purpose built conference and training centre we deliver a wide range of free training courses supported by multiple funders.

Beacon Church Bridport runs weekly church services in an effort to advance the Christian faith in Bridport. We attempt to bring relief to those in the town suffering hardship of some kind whether it be issues with mental health, drug addiction, illness or loneliness. Norwich Mens Shed supports the wellbeing of men in the local community. We provide a dedicated workshop space for men to socialise and take part in practical, creative and recreational activities, addressing key issues around wellbeing, social isolation and loneliness.

The Club provides a safe, warm and comfortable place for our Senior Citizens to meet, socialise and take part in physical and sedentary activities. The aim is to alleviate loneliness and isolation and foster friendships.

Relieving social isolation in the elderly population and offereing services to include people into the community

We empower individuals and communities through personal development, education, creativity and communications. Through training, we offer solutions to a lack of opportunities, loneliness, isolation, and regional disparity. Our skills-based learning programmes are inclusive, supporting neurodiversity, learning disabilities, mental health challenges and those seeking employment.

To relieve those living in Stone (Staffordshire) and surrounding areas who are in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability , financial hardship or other disadvantage by providing advice, assistance and activities to improve their quality of life and to alleviate the impacts of social isolation and adverse economic circumstances.

We run a series of recreational activities to promote wellbeing and to help reduce social isolation. These activities range from craft and wellness sessions, sports respites, learning to cook on a budget, learning to grow fruits and vegetables, taking part in inclusive sports clubs to helping people to gain experience through volunteering.

All our services are based around the Social Inclusion Model. We encourage people who have become socially isolated due to the effects of mental illness to play a more active part within their local community. Currently we provide a Volunteer Befriending Service, Social Groups in all area of the borough, social activites, and an allotment. We operate in the Borough of St Helens.
