During the financial year 2011-2012, the UCJC has supported both deprived and disadvantaged members of the church and non-members locally and across the UK by providing a range of social activities, care, and general support including home visiting and befriending, emotional support, advice and information sharing, guidance, advocacy. .

We provide befriending, practical advice and financial support to help refugees settle into the communities of Shaftesbury, Gillingham and the adjacent towns and villages.

A Monday Afternoon Social and Tuesday and Friday Lunch Clubs for the vulnerable, lonely and elderly.Saturday Coffee Morning for the community to get together, chat and meet new friends.Loan of personal mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, commodes and walking frames.Grants to individuals or groups to enable the improvement of the condition of life for residents of Mersea Island.

Our aim is to enhance the quality of life for Broadwoodkelly residents and surrounding neighbourhoods by encouraging social interaction and promoting better physical/mental health and well-being through educational, recreational and leisure activities to reduce rural social isolation and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis for all, especially those with limited income and of pensionable age.

We want to engage with our community, meet local needs and care for those that are lonely and isolated.Through our drop-in sessions, we welcome up to 60 people each week with a freshly prepared hot meal and opportunities to make friends and learn new skills.

The charity offers taster sessions of compassionate listening services and engaging wellbeing and mindfulness sessions, stress relief sessions and music therapy online, in everyday spaces and Universities. The inclusive, social spaces help overcome isolation and improve emotional wellbeing beyond the sessions, helping people to experience a sense of belonging and hope.

Dewsbury Community Outreach is a group of Christians from various local churches who have come together to help the vulnerable and less fortunate in our community by providing practical, emotional and spiritual support in a loving and caring environment. We are especially focused on helping those who are lonely, homeless and marginalised.

To provide facilities for local men over the age of 55 to help mitigate loneliness and isolation.To provide a workshop and social center and arrange social activities and outside visits

The range and focus of our work includes providing advocacy and crisis interpenetration surrounding domestic violence, including emotional and practical support, interpreting and translation, recreational activities, careers advice, drug abuse awareness, escorting, and transport, while promoting, and befriending networks.

Our activities support home-educated teens, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), through tailored education and mental health programmes, fostering community connections, and promoting inclusivity. We provide family support, resources, and nature-based learning to enhance personal growth, reduce isolation, and improve well-being.

To provide a Shed with a range of activities to benefit its members, maintain their health and wellbeing, combat isolation and loneliness, make friends and enjoy working and socialising with like minded others on a range of projects, Subject to planning permission we will develop a shed on Fishbourne Playing Fields. We meet on the first and third Mondays of each month at the Fishbourne Centre.

NB4U befriend 'lifer' Prisoners in local prisons. The Co-Founders and volunteers visit 10 prisoners every month We accompany them on ROTL's and Home Leaves. We attend Parole Hearings and on release meet them 'at the gate' and take them to their Hostels providing essential items. Our motto is 'Befriending Prisoners, mentoring Ex-Offenders so they NEVER re-offend again' and it works!

Co-ordinates volunteers to provide support to those who are socially excluded to assist them to integrate into society. Referrals to the scheme are made from GP Surgeries, charities and other organisations with those in need being matched to volunteers participating in the scheme.

The "Pateley Shed" works for the public benefit addressing rural isolation & social exclusion amongst mainly men in Nidderdale N Yorkshire. A key driver is providing a renewed sense of belonging & purpose through the provision of facilities in which they can meet to undertake physical or recreational activities, learn & pass on skills; supporting each other and providing a "listening ear".

We address loneliness and isolation by encouraging people to develop Friendship, Fellowship and Fun through Befriending and a diverse range of social events to encourage social interaction within the Rother community of East Sussex.

We are a small charity based in Barnsley, that provides social activities for adults with autism. Through our programme, we promote participation in meaningful and fun activity, nurture wellbeing and social connectivity and help reduce isolation and loneliness for individuals.

The main activity of the charity is the promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing adults with learning difficulties and/or additional needs including mental health from becoming socially excluded from society, relieving their needs and helping them to integrate in to society. The Hoskyn Community Centre owns a building in Rugby that is used by different groups for their meetings and activities. As part of the Community Centre the Trustees run a Day Centre providing day care facilities for elderly and less abled people from Rugby and the surrounding areas. Our particular area of focus is assisting loneliness amongst the elderly of Rugby and the environs.
