To relieve the people of Broughton Astley, Leicestershire and neighbouring villages who are in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or social circumstances in such ways as the trustees shall think fit. BTC preserves and protects the good health of cancer patients and their families in England and Wales. We do this by educating the public and medical profession about the emotional and wellbeing needs of cancer patients and their families; and by befriending cancer patients as well as their families during and after their medical treatment.

Our team of local volunteers provide help and support to the local community. We offer befriending services, transport to appointments, some shopping assistance and a respite sitting service.

Our main activities include; providing food, shelter, education and medical relief to those who are suffering from poverty and who have fled from war-torn countries. We also operate in the UK and arrange food packs, clothing and counselling to people suffering from isolation and loneliness.

Our local volunteers, provide opportunities for North Manchester Residents who may suffer from social isolation, to enjoy & meet up & visit seaside resorts to places of interest and other popular spots around the North West, within a couple of hours coach drive. 4 Trips a year.We have Trustees and Committee Members who meet up at regular meetings, held at chairman's home address Whitemoss closed

The Lion's Den (Shed) is based in Keighley West Yorkshire and operates in one location.The aim is to provide activities to help men (but not exclusively) with Mental Health and Well-being, Isolation, Loneliness, Bereavement and Suicide. Activities include Woodwork, Metal-craft, Glass-craft, Singing, Modelling, Bike repair/Maintenance, Arts & Crafts, Plus 3D printing and more

Person of South Asian Origin (POSAO) with a breast diagnosis and beyond.Monthly networks: guest speakers, short programmes, befriending service.Supporting patients and their families to be resilient and powerful in the community. Breast Cancer Awareness education: Young people (14-16 year old) and young adults (17-24 year old).

We provide soup, sandwiches and hot drinks and a listening ear to adult persons (aged 18 years and over) suffering from homelessness, addiction, mental illness or loneliness. We are open on Thursday nights from 7.15pm-8.45pm. This work is a practical expression of our Christian faith. We also sign post guests to other useful agencies.

To provide a community based transport service within a radius of 10 miles from Welshpool in Powys. Our participants using the scheme are given taxi tokens to enable them to access taxis operating on our behalf. The scheme is for the benefit of people who are disabled, elderly, frail or otherwise disadvantaged in terms of their mobility due to poverty, isolation, mental ill health or hardship.

Carmarthenshire Therapy Dogs started in 2015 we recruit volunteers working with their dogs supporting people in their own home, in residential homes, hospitals, dementia settings bringing comfort, reducing loneliness and isolation. We also provide therapy dog visits to groups, special health units and children and young people, we have automated pets for people, where real pets are not allowed.
