The aims of the PTA are to: Promote the raising or donating of money to support and develop the work of Roundwood Park School.Organise/support/attend social and fundraising events.Develop ways that parents/guardians, staff and the wider community can socialize, share ideas and have fun.

Our charity provides a meeting place for primarily older men in the community where they canmeet others and share their skills and abilities through creative activities such as woodwork,art games (e.g. chess) and other social activities. We also provide tools and equipment wherenecessary. Our aim is to enable older men who might feel isolated to engage with other individuals in the community

We hold 11 meetings per month where members get together. Our purpose is fun friendship and education so we have speakers or do activities to promote these.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO RAISE FUNDS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE FACILITIES AND ENHANCE THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL CHILDREN AT WESTBOURNE ACADEMY PRIMARY SCHOOL, WHILST ALSO FOSTERING A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AMONGST THE PUPILS, PARENTS AND ALL STAFF BY WAY OF SOCIAL EVENTS.

Aims to relieve the needs and social isolation of elderly people living in Formby, Hightown and Ince Blundell areas of Sefton, Merseyside by offering companionship and support. A volunteer visits an elderly person regularly for a chat or to enjoy activities which are agreed jointly. A coffee club is also held monthly for a larger group..

Educational and recreational activities. Most of our members are retired, some have retired early eg on company schemes for early retirement, some on health grounds. Social activities including coffee mornings with a visiting speaker, annual Xmas lunch, outings take place over the year. The charity is run by volunteers from among the members.

To provide a wider knowledge, understanding, education, and friendship among our members, with informative speakers and visits, with regular sociable meetings, within the influence of our National Federation of Women's Institutes

Village hall to provide amenity facilities for local area. Currently: physical and mental well-being including pilates and yoga, bridge club, archaeology group, village social events including quiz nights, summer barbecues and armistice day celebrations, private lettings for children's parties and wedding receptions for the adjoining St Peter's church.

Organise fundraising and social events for the school community at the Hobletts Manor Schools in Hertfordshire.

We maintain a local history museum. We provide resources for local schools. We provide objects and speakers for Reminiscence Therapy. We provide social activities for our members. We publish booklets on aspects of local history.

The charity was started in 1573 to provide coal and clothing to 4 elderly people in the village of Shalford but times have changed and now the charity promotes community spirit and organises functions and events to encourage socialising in an attempt to combat loneliness and to promote a sense of belonging, and general well-being.

Community-building activities. A place for men and women to meet informally to minimise isolation and have companionship. Activities include woodworking and many hobbies, as defined by members wishes

The Village Hall is a centre for a variety of activities for all ages: fortnightly coffee mornings, regular social events such as quizzes, talks, bingo, teas, book club and craft club. The hall is the focus for the annual Fete, Harvest Supper, Macmillan Coffee Morning and Christmas events. The hall is used for Parish Council meetings, FGCT meetings, as a polling station and for our MP's surgery.

Fundraising activities in support of The Women's Library; attracting Friends by means of social activities.

Conduct 2 monthly walks to cater for different abilities. Weekly private swims. A monthly talk from a variety of guest speakers. Hold monthly lunches at restaurants recommended by members. We hold two formal lunches per annum. Meet for coffee every month. Regular talks to heart patients and external organisations. All sessions are geared to social interaction. Produce monthly newsletter.

To raise funds to purchase equipment and enhance school life for the benefit of all pupils at St Joesphs Catholic Primary school, through social events and activities.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.

The Friends of Mary Seacole Housing Association work to prevent and relieving hardship and distress amongst persons who are in need by reason of homelessness, for the public benefit in the Luton area. We provide supported semi-independent accommodation for single people and provided life skills, credited and non accredited training and social activities to support the users back into independency.

Charity operates solely within Blaenau Gwent. The hall is available for use by members of the public for social activities and also any bodies who wish to hold health and education classes.
