To give the membership regular activities, companionship, entertainment and caring friends.Members meet 1 monthly, to enjoy a hot two course meal, followed by entertainment.This is very beneficial, as many members live alone.

Fundraising and social events for Friends of Grosvenor Park CofE Academy.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised Skills in Public Speaking, Sports Competitions, Drama and Entertainments, Stockjudging and Stockshowing/Presentation, Dancing, Duke of Edingburgh, meetings and social events, Fundraising.

Meet twice monthly for social activities and to provide speakers to give talks and information on subjects which are appropriate to those who have suffered strokes and also their carers. In addition there are about two outings a year and a Christmas celebration.There is also a fund raising event at least once per year.

Provision and maintenance of Parish Hall for the benefit of the villagers. Providing a place where meetings, talksand demonstrations, social events can take place.

In Jesus our saviour ministries we reach out to the communities to share Gods word. We do:- We hold mass and prayer gathering in church- Evangelism- socializing or taking trips to the seaside during summer breaks.- We visit and hold service at nursing homes- We organise youth conferences and women conferences during summer times- We do members and family picnic during summer holidays.

By advancing education and promoting social inclusion, Mama Haven will focus on combating in-work poverty. We aim to connect our users with higher income employment opportunities by partnering with training providers and providing childcare support.

Make a Medic is a UK-based charity that aims to support the medical education of medical students in developing countries. We raise funds through ticket sales & sponsorship for academic events; social events; and online medical resources. Our projects range from filling libraries, funding training programmes and sponsoring stethoscopes.

Sport, recreational, social events

the charity operates for the benefit of the pupils of Redby Primary Academy, running social events and fundraising activities the financial profits of which are used to enhance the pupils' education extra curriculum acitivies.

Stoke Gabriel WI is a member of the National Womens Institute. We meet monthly for organized talks, outings, and friendship. We meet regularly with other local institutes for joint activities such as Carol Services, Exhibitions of handicrafts etc. We raise money for an annual bursary to Denman College. We also raise money for Associated Countrywomen of the World.

Fund Raising/Social events. (ie; car boot sales, flower festival, Talk and Supper evenings, Treasure Hunt, etc.).Raising funds to ensure the future of the buildings and grounds etc of St. Paul's Church, Charlestown.

The Friends of Smithy Bridge School Association organise fundraising and social activities to benefit the children of Smithy Bridge Primary School. Egs of activities: Quiz Night, Xmas fair, Oompah night, Summer Fair, Magic show, mothers and fathers day gifts. Egs of items purchased in 2015/16 guided reading books, christmas parties and gifts,school extension fund, contributuon to year 6 PGL.

Run and maintain Norton Village Hall as a community facility to provide a base for village organisations and social events as per lease with Apley Estates.

Summer BBQ held annually for children and young people with disabilities and their families to socialise, network and escape the pressure of everyday life. Annual Christmas party with the same purpose as above. Fundraising Gala Evening in October to raise vital funds for the charity. Any other fundraising activities decided by the trustees that will ensure the charity can continue running.
