Romsey Gateway club caters for adults with learning disabilities and has done for over thirty years. We seek to provide opportunities for friendship, recreation and entertainment. The development of existing skills outings and intigrating within the community. This allows for a few hours respite and rest to those who care for our members when they are at home.

To promote social inclusion, welfare and education of over 55s within the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley. Also to provide social welfare for recreation and leisure-time with the object of improving the conditions of life for the areas inhabitants

1. Relief of poverty in Lackford by grant of money or payment of bills. 2. Promotion of community and social inclusion in Lackford by financial support for hiring community facilities.

Monthly meetings concerning conservation matters relating to the village of Chalfont St Giles conservation area, occasional social events.

TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR FRIENDSHIP AND EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE. WE HAVE SERIES OF VARIOUS SPEAKERS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND DAYS OUT. FREQUENT OPEN MEETINGS ARE ARRANGED FOR NON MEMBERS.

Our activities aim to build good relations and encourage understanding between people of different faiths and beliefs. We advise individuals and organisations on matters of faith, and promote shared action on social issues. We visit places of worship, hold lectures, mount exhibitions and hold social events, and are represented on local community groups, government bodies and faith agencies.

HOME-START STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS IS A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE WELFARE OF FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN. VOLUNTEERS OFFER REGULAR SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND PRACTICAL HELP TO FAMILIES UNDER STRESS IN THEIR OWN HOMES AND/OR IN GROUP SITUATIONS, HELPING TO PREVENT FAMILY CRISIS AND BREAKDOWN.

1. Relief of Kidney Patients under the care of Liverpool/Merseyside area.2.Support of the above and thier families.3.Educate the public in renal problems and associated conditions.4.Fundraising ans social events

We are a small association of volunteers set up to support the residents of two residential homes for adults with learning difficulties, Strathmore and Highcross, and their associated independent houses. Our major objective is improving the quality of life of the residents. We do this by supporting activities in the fields of the arts, sport and health/fitness as well as general social events.

The Branch is one of many Branches who fund raise to help to look after those of the RAF family and their immediate dependents. We fund raise locally to fund any immediate welfare work in our locallity and we meet monthly to socialise and ensure that those we know who are unable to attend meetings are visited by a Branch member. We ensure the memory of those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The hall was available for hire for community meetings and social events, clubs and other recreational activities until 1st May 2018. At this point the hall closed, as it was deemed to be unsafe. The charity has since demolished the hall, planning permission to rebuild had been approved, but it expired in November 23. The rebuild project is pending. Car park remains accessible.

ORGANISATION OF SOCIAL EVENTS FOR THE ELDERLY

Providing women of all ages and interests an opportunity to take part in activities within the local community; this can take the form of educational trips covering a very wide range of subjects but also to providing friendship often to our older members. We meet at least once a month and join other W.I.'s periodically for interactive events.

Provide services to members with post strokes. Social activities, meetings. outings,physiotherapy, speach therapy, advice and companionship.

Provide Educational, Cultural & Social Activities ESOL, Cooking, accredited Short Courses e.g food hygiene, emergency first aid for adults and children, keep fit classes, health and safety, manual handling, Advise & Information on various Issues, Health & Wellbeing, Housing, Mental Health,

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.

Supporting the pupils of Highfurlong School and the local community by providing equipment and social activities to enhance their education and quality of life.

The PTFA was set up to raise funds for additional resources to enhance the educational experiences of deaf pupils at the school. Although Royal Cross is based in Preston, pupils come from all over Lancashire and neighbouring authorities. Charity activities include fundraising for a new minibus, signed theatre performances, subsidised family outings and workshops, fun days and social events.

Sidvale Africa Link is a small charity that promotes friendship and cooperation between the people of the Sid Valley in East Devon and the people of the Bolero District in Northern Malawi. Since 1986 this charity has assisted the people of Bolero with various agricultural and educational projects. There have, over the years, been many visits to the area by people from East Devon.

To support financially or with goods such individuals or families to relieve any such financial hardship and promote quality of life options wherever possible.

We award grants to young people wanting to attend Christian camps; who otherwise could not afford to do so. The camps organise physical and social activities and seek to develop the physical, mental and spiritual capabilities of the young.
