Based in a very rural area, Ryedale and the wider area of North Yorkshire, Ryedale and District Mencap provides activities, outings, social occasions, affordable holidays, friendship, support and community spirit, to adults with learning disabilities. We are a safe, welcoming, wholly inclusive group.

Porthcawl U3A is a learning co-operative of older people. Its programme includes lectures, educational visits, cultural and social events and a wide range of study and interest groups.

Three full length plays are performed each year at Daneside Theatre, Park Road, Congleton, Cheshire. Every two years a one act playwriting competition is organised which culminates in a one act play festival. Social activities also take place, including visits to performances at other theatres.

We operate 3 day centres for our elderly members across Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse. The centres normally open for one day per week and provide friendship, support and help to combat isolation. Activities include games, some entertainment, outings and seasonal parties. The Mansfield Woodhouse day centre operates for an additional day per week, at which they provide craft activities.

Sign and Share Club hold meetings across Pembrokeshire where Deaf, deaf, hard of hearing, deafened, and deaf-blind people can meet and enjoy social activities in order to reduce isolation and loneliness. The club also has a hearing aid repair service which is offered at these meetings and, where appropriate, through home visits. We also work with businesses to improve access for d/Deaf people.

CEDU3A provides monthly meetings with a speaker, social events and around 120 different subject groups for those who are retired or semi-retired to attend. The charity is a self-help organisation and all activities are lead by volunteers, with members bringing together subject groups which others are interested in attending in their own homes or other local venues.

To provide leisure activities, and life and social skills learning opportunities for the children and young people that live, socialise or go to school within the parish of stretham.

We are based in premises near the University of Bradford and Bradford College and provide friendship, English language practice and opportunities for Bible studies for international students from all backgrounds.

We hold services of public worship weekly and special services at Christian festivals, coffee fellowship morning weekly, Brass Band practice weekly, host yoga and exercise groups, work with the Goslings pre-school who use our premises, and hold many other social events and concerts.

The Westcott Reading Room provides facilities for a wide range of leisure and recreational activities and social events which are well promoted and easily accessible to all members of the local community through the ownership, maintenance, development and operation of our building to provide a community space which is available for hire to all.

We are one church, with two buildings providing worship & prayer meetings & social activities. Facilities are used by many people from toddlers to seniors. We offer practical help to the local community in many areas of need. We have been at Cooke Street Bryn since 1987 and at the Bethel, Hindley Green since 1993. We amalgamated and adopted the joint name of Cornerstone Family Church on 18/11/2018

The Daycentre provides a warm space, social interaction & freshly cooked lunches at moderate prices between 10am & 2pm every Tuesday and Thursday, for the local residents over 55. This is funded by rental of the premises to a variety of organisations for their activities with particular emphasis on groups supporting the over 55's eg Blind & Housebound & Alzheimer's groups.

To provide social events for the wider school community and raise funds to provide resources which will enhance the children's education.

We are an all inclusive and diverse centre that is used by various groups whose members include an older generation of people who attend to socialise, keep active and combat loneliness. We deliver coaching to women, girls and young children to get them involved in sports and keep fit and healthy. We also support disabled people in accessing the facility including wheelchair user.

We provide child care for 2-5 yr old children with various activities to promote learning thro play, to teach social activities ie. learning to share and care for each other. Also to prepare - settle in early learning for when they go into full time education.

The LAKPA provides support to persons suffering from kidney disease in particular patients from Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire receiving treatment via the Lister Hospital, Stevenage. We provide services or items to improve the welfare of renal patients and carers e.g. equipment, printed information, speakers, grants to patients and subsidised social events.

The Charity's activities are to operate and maintain a Village Hall as a facility available to all members of the community and local organsations to hire for their various meetings and social activities at reasonable hiring rates. As such it maintains and operates the Village Hall building and surrounding grounds for the benefit of the local community of all ages.
