Friends organise 4 to 5 major social events plus a range of other fundraising activities through out the year. A key objective is to run every event profitably (whilst representing good value to participating parties) so that grants can be made to the school and other organisations , or equipment purchased , for academic and extra-curricular activities which the school could not otherwise fund.

The church runs weekly Sunday morning and evening services, with weekly Sunday School and Creche. Other activities include weekly prayer meetings. Regular teaching seminars, monthly prayer days, and regular family and social events have also been held. Activities for children take place after services.

The Charity's objects for the public benefit are to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statements of beliefs. This is achieved by regular activities including Sunday Morning services, children's clubs, social events for the local community and supporting other Christian organisations throughout the United Kingdom and the rest of the world.

The advancement of the Christian Faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Gatehead and the surrounding neighbourhood. We provide weekly religious services and social events that are both all-inclusive (Sunday morning worship, Fellowship Meals, Coffee Mornings) and age sensitive (Sunday School, youth meetings).

Provide facilities that can be used bygroups in the local community. The main halls are available for groups for a wide range of activities which currently include a toddler group and a choir. New groups are being introduced for arts and crafts that are available to both young and old. All users of the centre are encourage to offer a range of activities within the community to provide friendship.

Seaford Little Theatre presents four plays each year in our theatre which holds approximately 100 people. The cast consist of all ages. The theatre is also used by other groups for their social activities.

Our community venue is a centre for regeneration; a fully equipped community venue open to all where people can meet, eat, learn, socialise, exercise and be part of community life.

The Verona Association provides facilities for elderly members of the community to participate in physical and mental recreation activities including dance, singing, snooker, bowling and a friendship club. These activities take place in the association's own premises.

Youth club: We provide a safe place for young people in the district to come for recreational activities, computer access, fitness, education, counselling and advice from trained professionals.Sports Hall: We provide an affordable venue for groups and residents from the district to hire for fitness and social activities.

Chesterton Community Partnership Trustees manage the Community Centre and the Village Hall. The activities are all designed to foster community involvement whether social or recreational. The Village Hall is used solely by Chesterton Play Group whilst the Community Centre accommodates leisure and social activities, including regular afternoon teas, community lunches & a Family Drop in facility.

The Friends currently provides -ú10,000 each year from the income of its capital funds for maintenance of the fabric. Additional monies are raised from talks and social events for Friends and their guests. An annual programme listing these events is sent out.

We run a monthly support group with additional social activities, a regular newsletter, a support helpline and website and a twice weekly drop in support service at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. The charity's specialist two part time link workers attend St Mary's weekly, as well as neurology and neurosurgery outpatient clinics, trauma ward, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

IT DONATES TO THE SCHOOL FOR SPECIFIC WISH LIST ITEMS. FUNDING IS RAISED AT FAIRS AND SOCIAL EVENTS, THROUGH REGULAR DONATIONS BY PARENTS AND ONE-OFF DONATIONS BY OTHER BENEFACTORS.

The charity supports the work of Capital Church Cardiff. This includes providing regular public worship services, home-based study groups and social activities. Support is given to an organisation helping street sex workers in Cardiff. There are friendship and project links with churches in South Wales, Ghana, Guyana and Kenya.

SMALL DOMESTIC ODD JOBS ALSO UNDERTAKEN BY VOLUNTEERS. WE DO NOT MAKE FINANCIAL GRANTS

Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre aims to provide social, recreational, educational and therapeutic support to children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs or disabilities, and their families.This includes swimming and riding lessons, Carers' Choir, Film Club and Family Support drop-in sessions and a range of holiday activities and social events.

Provide accommodation, kitchen & facilities for local disabled charities to meet weekly or monthly for social activities and/or their business meetings.

Cylch Meithrin Pentreuchaf is a sessional group providing quality care and education for children between two years and school age. Children are given the opportunity to learn and socialise under the professional, qualified and enthusiastic supervision of staff during the cylchoedd meithrin sessions
