Llantrisant Young Farmers Club gives the opportunity for young people between the ages of 10 and 26years old in the Llantrisant area who are interested in rural life and activities, to meet up with other like minded individuals. The club is part of the federation of young farmers clubs, which is a national organisation and the members meet up for competitions and social events.

Courses and regular classes are held in Europe to teach Wushu to the public for their benefit.CWFO also visits and hosts various Wushu Master such as Master Chang Hai Zhu, a Chen Style Master originally from North East China.CWFO arranges cultural exchanges with China

Providing support and friendship to families with a member affected by serious/terminal illness or disability,through activities,group sessions,financial support and wish granting. Specialising is Christmas visits to families unable to travel to Lapland or a local grotto due to their health issue,by bringing a mobile grotto to their homes.

Our aim is to further enhance our children's education and enjoyment whilst at Chilworth School. We do this by raising funds to help the school provide extra resources for the pupils; running social events for parents and children; providing support for school trips and outings and other special events and funding the swimming pool.

Members benefit from a programme of visits, day schools, lectures, site tours & social events in the York area & wider. All funds raised contribute directly to the work of York Archaeological Trust for Excavation & Research to further it's important work.

Fundraising by way of school and social events

Promotes the interests of inhabitants of the North Laine Area of Brighton by working with the local authority, police & other voluntary groups. Residents with a concern can raise it at one of our monthly meetings or in our newsletter, the Runner. At meetings, in the Runner and on our web site, useful information such as local history or forthcoming social events of the association is given.

Providing facilities for sport, companionship and recreation for the community, of any gender and across a very wide age range and range of fitness, ill health or incapacity

The prevention or relief of isolation of people who experience Autism living in Greater Manchester area who are socially excluded, in particular by providing opportunities to integrate and provide them with an opportunity to build capacity by establishing and growing friendship, employability and training/learning opportunities to relieve their needs and help them to integrate into society.

To relieve poverty for the public benefit by providing donated items, including but not limited to food, clothing, household items to the homeless and those in poverty. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people and in particular but not exclusively for elderly persons who become socially excluded from society due to being house bound and have lack of a support circle.

Social events and ongoing fund raising activities.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Gateshead by the provision of facilities for playing bowls, health, social activities and education programmes.

Multi Disability Swimming and Recreation Club, covering Blackpool Wyre and Fylde. Supports swimming and social activities for people with a wide range of disabilities. Usually around 100 - 130 members are involved in swimming and social activities and 53 volunteers subject to DBS checks. Regular swimming activities sessions at Moor Park Swimming Pool take place on Sunday mornings.

Scouting for boys and girls beginning at the age of 4 upwards.All types of physical, intellectual and social activities, to promote the development of young people in achieving their full potential as individuals and responsible citizens. We provide an enjoyable scheme of training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leadership.

Springhead Community Centre is a thriving hub of the community, managed for the benefit of the citizens of Oldham in general, and of Springhead and the surrounding area in particular.We see it as a base for other voluntary organisations in the area, and as a facility promoting health through exercise and social interaction for our older citizens.

Fundraising and Social activities within the school environment

The charity runs a Village Hall for the benefit and enjoyment of the residents of the Civil Parish of Puxton and its surrounding area - "the area of benefit". Dog training, music, dance, craft classes, WI & Parish Council meetings, private and public social events all form part of the activity mix. The Hall is also the local polling station for local & national elections and referenda.

We provide the hall's facilities for local groups ranging through the W.I, a gardeners society, flower arrangers, keep-fit, retirement groups, childrens parties, other social events, Parish Council meetings plus a field for the local school.
