We work with young people aged 10-18, through skill building and sporting activities we aim to promote self discipline, team work, team responsibilities, respect for others, pride in personal presentation (appearance and behaviour), self-esteem and self respect. We also aim to equip them for adulthood with the values and standards needed for good citizenship.

THE INSTRUCTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF ALL CLASSES IN THE PRINCIPLES OF DISCIPLINE, LOYALTY AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP.

The purpose of the Society is to protect and improve the quality of life of the citizens of Ramsgate, having particular regard to the quality of the built and natural environment, its civic and open spaces, the history and heritage of the town, and the encouragement of civic pride and active citizenship.

Finding legal support for asylum seeker applications and supporting refugees to obtain the right to remain and or gain citizenship. We assist refugees applying for benefits and emergency housing.We maintain and develop links with donors to provide household items and clothing for refugee households in York and partners in Bradford, Wakefield and Hull.

We promote social responsibility and good citizenship through positive engagement in sport and leisure activities for young people and the wider community of all ages and groups.

To ensure Birmingham is an attractive city.Promote high standards of planning &architecture; educate the public in the geography, history, culture & architecture of the city; secure the preservation & improvement of public amenities & features or areas of historic or pubic interest in the city.Promote the concept of active citizenship. Plant trees and raise awareness of the importance of trees.

Provision and support of training and education and duties of good citizenship for young persons in the Army Cadet Force. To help young persons develop physically, mentally and spiritually so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and good citizens and members of society.

The main purposes of the Women's Institute organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions, in music, drama, all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare.

The development and instruction of young people in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship using trained volunteer leaders dedicated to our beaver, cub and scout sections.

Sea Cadets is voluntary uniformed youth organisation which offers a range of largely free activities from sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT communications, music and cookery. We aim to encourage good citizenship and provide worthwhile qualifications, experience and adventure for young people. Cadets have the opportunity to learn life skills whilst having fun and making friends.

The instruction of boys and girls up to the age of 14 of all classes in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship.We provide the opportunity for both girls and boys up to the age of 14 in Kings Lynn to enjoy the varied activities of the scouting movement.

THE INSTRUCTION OF BOYS AND GIRLS OF ALL CLASSES IN THE PRINCIPLES OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCOUT MOVEMENT, AND OF DISCIPLINE, LOYALTY, GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND SOCIAL SKILLS.

Training in leadership and team building skills, citizenship, water based and all round healthy and well structured activities - with vocational qualifications available via partnerships with organisations such as BTEC, CVQ/NVQ and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

We provide education/training through fun/games & projects etc. in citizenship.

To provide and maintain a Village Hall and space for the advancement of citizenship or community development for the Community of Dickens Heath and surrounding areas.
