The primary function of the Trust is to provide grants to enable research and help in the dissemination of information about educational techniques and practices that better promote and advance religious harmony, equality and diversity in schools.

Whilst no grant-making policy has yet been formulated, and the Trustees may at their discretion fund any charitable project, it is intended (without obligation) that grants may be given initially to charitable organisations or charitable projects that are connected with the relief of poverty and the promotion of ethnic and religious harmony and mutual understanding between different groups.

The advancement of religion, to develop the capacity and skills of socially and economically disadvantaged communities.The prevention or relief from poverty and the advancement of education in relation to faith and interfaith matters.Promoting Equality and Diversity by raising awareness and fostering understanding between people from diverse backgrounds by cultivating Equality and Diversity.

Projects and events; people share in Faith, Values, Culture and Customs via: Interfaith meetings on various understandings of Spirituality in a community setting with themes based on arts, music, culture and food. Educational events promoting shared social action on developing a community of respect, understanding, cohesion and harmony. Specific focus on projects for young people and diversity.

CGE achieved its charitable objects through the following activities:-1) Delivery of the Global Teacher Award (GTA)2) Input and training in Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)3) The promotion of racial harmony, equality and diversity4) Supporting schools with global awards5) Providing up to date knowledge on global issues at training sessions

The Charity's objects are the commemoration for the benefit of the public life and works of Mahatma Gandhi and his contribution to the advancement of human rights, citizenship, the promotion of racial harmony, equality and diversity by establishing and maintaining a public statue Mahatma Gandhi in Parliament Square.

To promote religious and racial harmony for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively to families and parents or carers of primary school aged children and those children themselves. The charity runs informal educational events and learning activities that enable and nurture dialogue and meaningful conversation across cultural, racial and religious divides.

1. Organises free public seminars, talks and conferences to advance education in global culture, science and knowledge.2. Supports cross-cultural and interdisciplinary exchange, promoting understanding and community wellbeing.3. Funds scientific research for public benefit, ensuring results are shared openly through publications and outreach.

We plan to perform new jazz settings of The Psalms by David Gordon and performed by Jacqui Dankworth, and then go on to perform in other venues using local and youth choirs wherever possible. Our aim is to encourage inter-faith dialogue through the music.Our inaugural concert was in November, 22 in the new Mosaic Synagogue in London in collaboration with them. We are planning more performances.

We aim to provide such services as the provision of educational support to the Turkish community living in Manchester the organisation of social and cultural events in order to contribute to the integration of the aforementioned community with the local people and their culture, the active contribution to the cause of intercultural and interfaith dialogue.
