African Child Trust (ACT) is working to relieve poverty among disadvantaged children and women-led households in Africa. We are educating children and orphans and empowering widows and women-in-need through training and income generation for sustainable livelihood to support their families. We are engaging UK youths in global citizenship awareness and international development experience.

The Trust was formed as a vehicle to meet charitable causes in any area of the world. All manner of charitable causes are supported, predominantly in the areas of education, faith, health, human rights and reconciliation and the relief of those in need. The Trust rarely supports GAP year students or applications for educational courses. The Trust prioritizes small projects with "seed corn" funding

The Islamophobia Response Unit is a charity dedicated to supporting victims of Islamophobia. It was founded in response to rising anti-Muslim attacks, and the growing tide of anti-Muslim sentiment across the UK. This service is for those who suffer or have suffered, an incident of hate crime, hate incident, or discrimination as a result of their Muslim faith (or perceived Muslim faith) in the UK.

We provide legal services to children & young people to register as British citizens or establish their existing British citizenship; run monthly advice sessions for children, young people & their carers; undertake legal casework for children/young people with complex cases; write, disseminate & publicise briefings, articles, leaflets; train lawyers/social workers/others working with young people.

Preserve, promote and protect the good mental, emotional and physical health of gymnasts, relieve the needs of gymnasts who suffer or have suffered mental, emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse in particular by providing them with counselling and practical assistance, including assistance in obtaining redress for the abusesuffered, and promote the human rights of gymnasts.

The principle object of charity is to advance the Islamic faith for the public benefit.The charity runs after school Islamic classes for the children and facilitate Congregational prayer. Trust also works closely with inter-faith to provide access to the mosque for local schools & colleges for educational purposes.

To work towards the elimination of racial discrimination; and to promote equality of opportunity, and good relations, between persons of different racial groups especially in the region known as Devon, including Plymouth, Exeter and Torbay.

MUSIC ACTION INTERNATIONAL CREATE LIFE-CHANGING MUSIC PROGRAMMES WITH WAR SURVIVORS TO OVERCOME THE EFFECTS OF WAR-RELATED TRAUMA. EVERY YEAR, WE SUPPORT AROUND 2000 CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULT REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS AFFECTED BY WAR, SEXUAL VIOLENCE, TORTURE, DISCRIMINATION, HATE CRIME, AND RELATED TRAUMA IN THE UK, SIERRA LEONE AND BOSNIA-HERCEGOVINA.

We organise and act as a facilitator for a broad range of activities, which can be broadly divided into three categories. 1. Social Welfare and support activities particularly for the young and elderly. 2. Activities to promote tolerance and educate about the danger of racism. 3. Religious services for the Jewish population of the West Midlands.

CDEC PROVIDES TEACHING RESOURCES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS IN CUMBRIA. THIS INCLUDES GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP, SCHOOL LINKING, MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION, OUTDOOR LEARNING, CHALLENGING PREJUDICE AND RACISM, CRITICAL THINKING AND ENQUIRY.

To advance such charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales as the board members see fit from time to time, including: The prevention or relief of poverty, advancement of education, health or the saving of lives, citizenship or community development. The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

Promote charitable purposes for the benefit of: the community of Lancashire, racial harmony, education, culture, financial hardship, advancement of faith, humanitarian causes, exclusively charitable causes in accordance with the laws of England and Wales as the Trustees may from time to time decide.
