It's predictable. It's also preventable.At Rights for Peace we use human rights training and advocacy to counter identity-based violence and support transitional justice. We operate in Sudan and South Sudan.

Within the parish of Colyton, the relief of those in need; the advancement of education and training; the advancement of citizenship and community development; the advancement of the heritage of Colyton; securing facilities for recreation, services, and amenities; the beautification of the parish of Colyton; and the promotion of industry, commerce, agriculture and horticulture.

Our core activity is a regular Sunday service, in the church, for worship and celebration. We also have discussion groups and action groups meeting on weekdays, e.g. a Green Group, a Poetry Group and other discussion groups. We support other chosen charities by fund-raising, and liaise with other faith and inter-faith groups, with the aim of promoting inter-faith communication and harmony.

Core activity : Weekly Sunday service, in church & on Zoom for worship and celebration, and other online services. We have a Green Group and Poetry Group. We hire our premises to community and self help groups and support other chosen charities eg food bank. We have a strong social justice ethos.

The training of young people between the ages of 6 and 25 in Scoutcraft, citizenship and outdoor activities according to the princples of the Scout Association.

PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN PARTICULAR THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION, INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY RAISING THE AWARENESS OF THE PUBLIC WITH REGARD TO ALL ASPECTS OF DISCRIMINATION IN SOCIETY AND ISSUES AND DIFFICULTIES AFFECTING THE LIVES OF LESBIAN, GAY AND BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER PEOPLE.

Yorkshire Mediation Services provides mediation and conflict resolution services across Yorkshire and Humberside. Our core work is neighbour dispute mediation but we also carry out workplace mediation, peer mediation and training in communication and conflict handling skills.

HRAS undertakes advocacy, research, investigations, case study development, international programmes, projects and campaigns and educational development for individuals and organisations in the field of maritime human rights.

Children classes 5 days a week. Women gathering for general advise. Community cohesion i-e churches and mosques. Daily prayers and speeches on citizenship.

Tore's Foundation pioneers active, liberal education in selected communities in developing countries, viewing it as a means to foster democracy and long term economic prosperity. We provide the training and the resources needed to implement teaching methods that build confidence, encourage collaboration and debate, and aim to create more politically active and engaged citizens.

BPEC is an Education Centre focusing on peace and environmental issues. We work with community groups, schools, local businesses & other organisations. We run courses for teachers on integrating global citizenship into the curriculum. Our comprehensive library has over 2,000 books and teaching packs. We provide information on local, national and international campaigns, projects and organisations.
