A local charity that protects and provides sanctuary for unwanted and distressed animals until loving new homes are found in the Furness and South Lakes area. Our policy is never to have a healthy animal put to sleep. Animal Welfare Furness was founded by a group of local people and registered as 519065 in 1987. The charitys registration transitioned to 1189973 and CIO status on 1 Jan 2023.
