Operating a range of sports and leisure facilities across Stockport and elsewhere, from small community recreation centres to large multi use state of the art leisure centres. We currently manage a number of swimming pools, sports halls, and sports & fitness facilities including a large multi-use football, racquet sport and fitness training facility.

Resourcing the Church of England's mission and ministry primarily in the parishes of the Diocese of Carlisle and contributing towards the work of the Church nationally.

The principal aim of the charity is the furtherance of the Roman Catholic religion within the geographical boundaries of the Diocese of Lancaster. This includes but not limited to pastoral support for clergy and parishioners, educational support, relief of poverty and maintenance of the property of the charity.

Fylde Coast YMCA is an inclusive organisation providing quality services to the local community, which stimulates and challenges people, especially the young - empowering them to develop in mind, body and spirit.We develop a range of quality services for the local community with emphasis on Housing, Physical Activity, Outdoor Education and Young People

To provide hospice care and support for children and young people with palliative care needs including support for the whole family. This includes; specialist respite including symptom management, hospice at home, end of life care and bereavement support after death. This care and support is provided in partnership with individual children's local health, social and education professionals.

We make grants to local charities, groups and individuals, manage grant-making funds on behalf of individuals and organisations, and promote giving to build long term capital funds to benefit the community in the future.Our grants target activities which help children and young people, older people and their carers, people with disabilities, the unemployed and people on low incomes.

The charity delivers training to meet national skills strategies for employers and learners covering Apprenticeship programmes across a number of skill sectors (including engineering, automotive, construction, business administration and dental health) and Study Programmes (including a Military Preparation Programme) and other programmes designed to increase employability skills.

Windermere Educational Trust Limited operates an Independent Boarding Preparatory and Senior School offering education to children aged 3 to 18.

Working in the North West of England, the organisations objects are to promote community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Area. St Mary's Hospice is the dedicated provider in South Cumbria of comprehensive specialised supportive and palliative care for people with life limiting conditions. Facilities and services are available to all adults who are facing the end of life, and to their families, carers and the bereaved.

Public promotion of Kadampa Buddhism throughout the world, by supporting the development of Kadampa Buddhist Centres throughout the world; by publishing and distributing books on Kadampa Buddhism; by training teachers of Kadampa Buddhism; and by maintaining a year-round programme of Buddhist teachings and meditation at the charity's home premises.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust is the only voluntary organisation solely devoted to the conservation of the wildlife and wild places of Cumbria. The Trust stands up for wildlife, creates wildlife havens, and seeks to raise environmental awareness.

Eden Valley Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialist care to adults from the local area and children throughout Cumbria, as well as caring for their families, friends and carers.
