The Association has a clear objective: to help sustain a resilient and empowered RAF community, including serving personnel, RAF veterans and their families.We work to reduce loneliness and isolation by helping all generations to remain active, thriving and valued members of their local communities.We relieve key elements of everyday life which can cause our beneficiaries pressure.

TO PROVIDE WELFARE SUPPORT ANYONE WHO IS SERVING OR WHO HAS SERVED IN THE ROYAL AIR FORCE OR ITS ASSOCIATED AIR FORCES, THEIR SPOUSES, WIDOWS/WIDOWERS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO MAY NEED ASSISTANCE BY REASON OF FINANCIAL DISTRESS, DISABILITY, SICKNESS, CONVALESCENCE, LONELINESS OR OTHERWISE.

The charity operates within the area of East Grinstead where the branch membership of some 60 members and families reside. It collects for annual RAFA UK Battle of Britain Wings Day every September. It provides constant social and welfare support and activites for RAFA members and families and makes regular donations to local charities and organisations considered worthy by the branch membership.

Membership and Welfare activities in Kettering and the surrounding areas

During the COVID 19 pandemic JESA-UK activities reduced significantly. However, now that it is over we are progressing with activites such as walkathon, banquet, etc. This will give us the necessaty funds to carry on with our charitable work at home and abroad. We also work with other charities to help the elderly feel at home especially at Christmas

Friendship, help and support including voluntary welfare support to serving and former members of the Royal Air Forces and their families.

The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) is to help young people towards responsible adulthood and to encourage them to reach their potential by developing valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

The charity intends to restore the former Royal Navy ship HMS Bronington and to display and use the ship for the benefit of the public and to advance public education in mine countermeasures and naval matters.

Providing a social club for ex Royal Naval and other ex service personel to meet and raise monies for local and national charities .

To support The Rifles (Berkshire & Wiltshire) Museum

The Branch provides Support and Camaraderie for Ex Servicemen from the Parachute Regiment and Ex Airborne forces.The Branch provides a forum for serving and ex serving members of the Parachute Regiment.Members of the Branch provide an attendance at Memorial Events and Services relevant to the interests of the Association.

Fund raising to cover costs of items and activities, not funded through National or Local Official sources, to enable the Dorset Army Cadets to carry out their training in an appropriate manner. In addition the league supports young cadets whose income may require financial support to attend collective training away from home.
