To promote the efficiency of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces To relieve either generally or individually persons who are serving or who have served in The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. The commemoration and remembrance of those members of Airborne Forces who have died while on active service.

To provide welfare, support and friendship to both serving and retired members of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces and their dependents in our local areaTo promote the efficiency of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces by any charitable means including but not limited to fostering espirit de corp and maintaining contact between past and present members. To remember fallen comrades.

We organise social functions, dances etc in order to raise funds to help support ex-members of The Parachute Association whoare struggling.

The Branch exists to furthery the purpose and aims of the Parachute Regimental Association (Charity Commission number 214015). As part of a national network the branch is expected to follow guidance set by the executive committee of the main Association. Providing education supplies and requirements as well as the construction of educational facilities for disadvantaged and HIV orphaned children in Tanzania and education and rehabilitation for former child soldiers in Northern Uganda.

The provision and maintenance of a permanent memorial located at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, dedicated to the airmen and airwomen of the Canadian Air Forces. The memorial was unveiled and dedicated at a ceremony on 8 Jul 11 in the presence of HRH The Duke of Gloucester, The Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, Senior RAF and Canadian officers and many veterans and their families.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum holds a collection of aircraft, technical artefacts, related documents and has on display general exhibits which relate to and record the history of naval aviation and current activities of the Royal Naval Air Service.

Raising funds through having a Charity Night, charity boxes in pubs and clubs, local business and community donations ,the Royal Navy from HMS Collingwood, Portsmouth having a Charity Day at Millwall FC collecting money in charity boxes..

The advancement of education; the promotion and enhancement of military efficiency; and, the commemoration and remembrance of those members of the Naval Service and Auxiliaries who have died on active service; by promoting, supporting and assisting the charitable work of the National Museum of the Royal Navy.

The charity is developing a system which will allow it to film service personnel reading stories to their children. These will be able to be used whilst the personnel are on active deployment and will be a last memory for the children should their parent die on active service.

Municipal Building located in the centre of Wetherby which is used by local community and charity groups to raise money for their particular charity. This building is also for various Royal British Legion functions and Church Groups.

Dror for the Wounded provides financial assistance to the wounded soldiers in Israel.
