Fund raising in the community through ticket sales to village events, raffles, church choir performances and similar.

The choir gave 4 of its own concerts in the year . The audiences for our concerts were c130 .

The Mid-Norfolk Singers is a mixed voice choir rehearsing weekly during term time. Members age from 18 to 80. We generally perform three concerts a year, in keeping with our constitution and give other performances from time to time as requested to support community events.

Ashbourne Singers/Young Ashbourne Singers supported charities in its programme of concerts: - St Oswald?s - British Legion Remembrance - British Heart Foundation - Theo TrustAshbourne Singers has also formed a link with the Orchestra du Soisy sur Seine, France - this is part of the friendship between the two towns - choir visited Soisy in Dec and orchestra came to Ashbourne in May.

THE CHOIR'S MAIN AIM IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC BY THE PREPARATION AND PRESENTATION OF CONCERTS

The Pavilion is a community resource in North Kingston which is maintained on a voluntary basis by a group of trustees. It provides a venue for a wide range of regular activities including; Canbury Buttons (a mothers' and toddlers' group), yoga, a choir, charity away-days, a teenage cycling club and community meetings. It is also available to hire for children's parties, informal gatherings etc

(1) To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and in such other ways as the Chorale may from time to time decide.(2) To assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the committee shall from time to time determine.

We host weekly rehearsals on Friday nights ,culminating in our annual Gilbert & Sullivan Show. We also host three Club Nights where we perform a G&S Production with the audience providing the chorus parts. We also have two pot pourri nights per annum where anybody can come along and perform whatever they want. We put together a concert, updated annually and performed as requested.

HVHA is the community association for the village. It operates the village hall used by local organisations - choral group, church, W.I etc. It organises the weekly quiz, monthly social nights, some family social nights, the village Exhibition Day, charitable events for causes such as Marie Curie, and provides a venue for hire for private parties such as birthdays, christenings etc.

Community Choir

The object of the choir is the study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge, education and appreciation of such music by means of public performances.

The village hall serves a mainly rural community. Currently a mens club, WI, gardening club, pre-school, carpet bowls, whist drives, bingo sessions, film nights, singing group; the hall is also used for monthly coffee mornings, quizzes, parish council monthly meetings and for various church functions. There is an annual pantomime and occasional village celebrations.

To advance, improve,develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral music in all its aspects and by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the art of singing, music, dance, drama and mime, specifically the production of professional concerts and encouragement of the arts.

The Capricorn Singers is a ladies voice choir based in Cleveleys, Lancashire. Membership is open to any female person aged 18 or over. We sing all types of music including pop and rock, musical theatre, film soundtracks, and easy-listening. We perform all over the Fylde Coast - entertaining people, promoting a sense of community, and raising money for charities.

The Charity's principal aim is the presentation of choral works in public. There were two concerts in the 2014-5 season, Mendelsshon's 'Elijah' in autumn 2014 and 'Requiem' by Brahms, together with 'Five Mystical Songs' by Vaughan Williams in spring 2015. Both concerts were popular and attracted good audiences. In December 2014 an annual carol concert was performed at a local residential home.

The Society strives to support and promote choral singing in the community; to improve the standard of singing of the Choir members through teaching and rehearsal. It particularly aims to recruit younger members. It aims to perform concerts at least once a year.

We maintain a healthy membership upwards of 60 attending Wednesday evenings. The Corona Virus has forced us to replace face to face rehearsals with Zoom meetings, and all concerts have been cancelled. We have had small numbers of personnel at our hall when lockdown restrictions permitted. We continue to support our venue and our musicians to maintain relationships for the future.

The hall is used for a variety of activities including, Yoga, Youth and adult dance groups, craft, photography, floral art, health support, carers, pre-school and religious groups.Wedding receptions, funeral teas, children's parties and fundraising events.Community social events - harvest supper, bingo Children's Christmas Party , Whist Drives and Carol singing.
