The object of the society shall be to promote, develop, improve and maintain public education in and the appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

Approximately 55 members of ages between 16 & 80 yrs make up Stourport Choral. The choir performs concerts in a wide range of musical styles from light to serious opera, classical to modern choral & including music from popular shows. This friendly group's commitment is to provide live quality entertainment in a socially active atmosphere. We rehearse each Wed at 7.30pm, at Areley Kings Hall

The Choir this year performed no concerts this year The Choir was unable to recruit A new Musical Directorand our accompanist retired.

To advance the education of children and young people aged 4-18 through the provision of education in Tamil language and fine arts including singing and classical dance.

Choir members meet weekly in order to rehearse for at least 3 concert performances a year. Income is raised from their annual subscription and concert tickets sold to the general public. Concert programmes generally consist of sacred and a cappella music. These activities raise public and choir members' awareness and enjoyment of these genres and improve members' singing and sight-reading skills.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide.

An amateur choir singing regular concerts to a public audience

Maintaining the tradition and availability of choral music, performed to the highest standards for singers and the public within the area around Kent, Dartford.

A community centre for use by various groups and organisations to enhance the lives of people on Woodloes Park. Regular users include - Senior Citizens, Mothers and Toddlers, Townswomens Guild, Weight Watchers, Belly Dancing, Pilates, Community Choir, Youth Theatre, Youth Club.

ELLENVALE IS A LADIES CHOIR THAT STARTED IN 1976. WE PERFORM MAY & CHRISTMAS CONCERTS AND HAVE RAISED MANY THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OVER THE YEARS FOR LOCAL CHARITIES, ORGANISATION AND INDIVIDUALS. THE CHOIR SINGS 2 AND 3 PART HARMONIES AND REHEARSE WEEKLY (WEDNESDAY 7.30PM) AND ARE DIRECTED BY AN EXPERIENCED MUSICAL DIRECTOR & ACCOMPANIST. THE MUSIC INCLUDES SONGS FROM SHOWS AND CONTEMPORARY PIECES.

The Club exists to provide singing tuition in the Barbershop style, under the auspices of the British Association of Barbershop Singers, to any member of the community who wishes to participate in singing and performing to audiences on an amateur basis. Many of these performances are for various Charitable causes such Macmillan Cancer Support, The British Red Cross, etc

Regular choral concerts with open access to general public.

We hold regular weekly rehearsals for around 50 musicians. We operate an 'open' membership policy and advertise our presence widely. We put on 3 concerts a year in Alton, including a 'Last Night of the Proms', a Christmas Concert jointly with Alton Choral Society and a Ladies' Chamber Choir. We support the local Town Council and Community Centre in providing music for their events.

Community choir open to all local people. We hold over 40 rehearsals each year and present three free concerts.

The Abingdon Music Festival Association provides opportunities for young musicians (and non-professional adult musicians) to give performances as conductors, singers or instrumentalists in front of an audience, and to be assessed by experienced adjudicators.

THE SOCIETY MEETS AND PRACTICES FROM SEPTEMBER TO MAY, PUTTING ON TWO CONCERTS EACH YEAR. ONE CONCERT IS IN EARLY DECEMBER AND THE OTHER IS IN MAY.

We are a small amateur adult choir specialising in the performance of exciting and unusual unaccompanied choral music. We have a very broad, innovative and mainly secular repertoire which is challenging and interesting to both singers and audience alike. We are equally at home singing classical music in a tiny village church or light jazz in a concert hall.
