Provides accommodation for Brownies, WI, art classes, dance classes, keep fit as well as village social events.

Village Hall. Situated in a rural area and offers a central point for the residents of that area. Offers social events; across the range of age groups e.g. Brownies and Rainbows to the Over Sixties club; interests, balllroom dancing, quilting; resouces, houses the mobile post office. Operates as a venue to raise funds for services and provision in the village.We now offer post office services

The hall is used for recreation and education and is open to all. Groups using the hall are dancing,council meetings,exercise and keep fit group,phab adult meetings and socialising, training sessions and bingo.It is also used by the clays practice nurse to hold copd meetings. It is also availabile to hire for parties and wakes.ect.

To advance the education of children and young people between the ages of 6 and 21 years in particular but not exclusively through performance arts including dance, music, singing, drama and theatre.

(1) To advance the Indian/Hindu culture for the benefit of the public through rituals, music, arts, dance,events, constructing and maintaining temples. (2) The relief of need, hardship and poverty. (3) The promotion, preservation and protection of good health and wellbeing. (4) To advance education through the promotion of the arts including dance and music.

The Village Hall provides a facility for community groups. Current activities include W.I., Indoor Sports, Yoga, Youth groups, 1st Illogan Scouts, Jenny Dance, Martial Arts, Canasta Club (U3A), Friends of Manaingham Wood, & Cornwall Scale Modellers. The hall is also used for private functions and by touring drama groups. The overal aim is to support community development.

Provide/maintain Hall for use by local groups/charities eg. Boxercise Group, Ballroom Dancing, Pilates, Baby & Toddler Group, private parties and act as local Polling Station.

Provision of community facility open to all, where meetings, parties, events and a wide range of activities can be undertaken such as drama; line dancing; Parish Council; Table Tennis; Cricket nets; Yoga; Ramblers; Rotary; Election venue; Mothers & toddlers group and keep fit.

Our work centers around delivering community assistance on many levels. Our services include help for sick children diagnosed with cancer, giving support through our business Statement clothes. The Regeneration project supports people with diverse backgrounds to grow their talents through creative arts, music, dance and drama programs. We run business startup training, counsel and mentor programs

A variety of community activities including parish council meetings, local societies - amenity, bridge, history for example - leisure classes (pilates, line dancing) toddlers' group, art exhibitions, drama productions and private parties.

Thorner Parish Centre is an inclusive venue where activities include a Mums and Tots group, dance school, meetings, parties, exhibitions, art group, youth club and community choir to promote social, physical and mental well being.A successful cafe type Drop-By Social began in March 2011. Since 2013 the roof, insulations and all windows were replace following extensive fund raising activities.

Weekly activities:Tai Chi, dancing & singing classes; Monthly activities: health talk, health walk, cooking & arts and crafts class; Annual: thematic conference & outing; Others: BME advocacy and Shelter Housing drop-in advice sessions,food safety certificate courses; We also actively participate in City Council's, BEACON's and a number of large organisations' activities.

We are based at Longfield Road , Grimsby DN34 5SB.We provide room hire to the local community . We also have various weekly Dancing groups, Brownies, ,Craft Clubs, and Slimming World. We organise events and a weekly Bingo.Also a regular Tenants and Residence Drop-In which provides info.on council, housing and police issues,and Ward Surgery.

Donnington Hall is owned by the village of Dunton Green and is hired out to bona fide organisations which provide a variety of activities for the local community. Regular activities include badminton, drama academy, karate, pre-school, sequence dancing and table tennis. Subject to availability, terms and conditions, individuals can book the Hall on an ad hoc basis for private functions.

Provision of safe warm happy stimulating environment offering social interaction meeting weekly provision of a hot meal (cooked on premises). Activities include art, handicrafts, talks, dance, extend exercises, discussions, quizzes and outings etc.

The Dancers' Forget-Me-Not Fund is a charity that provides gifts to bona-fide Ballroom, Latin-American, Old-Time and Sequence dancers, of all grades from social dancer to professional competitor or teacher or any individual involved in the promotion of dance, who have been prevented from their normal dancing activity as a result of accident, illness, or other debilitating condition.

Dance Festival

To offer all members of the community opportunities to undertake a range of sporting and social activities (Open Access, Dance Football, Martial Arts, Creative groups ie jewellery,cardmaking and many more) which encourage healthier lifestyles, developing new skills and working toward employment. We offer appropriate activities to all members and encourage full participation.

The advancement of education by the encouragement of the arts including the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music; particularly through the establishment of a theatre company to stage plays which have their inspiration or source in history.

The Society organises presentations and demonstrations by leading figures and performers in the fields of opera and ballet.The Society offers Bursaries to students whose talents would be nurtured by attending full and part time courses relevant to professional careers in the arts of ballet and opera.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS HIRED TO CLUBS AND GROUPS FOR THERE USE EG: YOGA CLUB, DANCE CLUB, BOWLS CLUB, BROWNIES ETCTHE HALL IS ALSO HIRED OUT FOR PARTIES AND SOCIAL EVENTS. Also for meetings such as Parish Council and Old Comrades Association

Activities provided are: Street Dance; Ballet; Youth Group; Annual Award Ceremony; Educational workshops and Outings (Educational/Recreational).
